the way that journalism works is that the journalist identifies themselves and their organization, and then starts asking questions.

if you want to consider this news, then i suppose you would have to consider borat news.

furthermore, the video is the abridged version, meanings it’s likely to have been heavily, and unfairly, edited.

I suppose you have never heard of “investigative journalism”? If the journalists would have identified themselves, then this kind of thing would not have been uncovered. To compare this, where -]women’s/-] girls are being victimized, to a comedy that existed only to make people appear stupid is unconscionable.

there are no women or girls being victimized, except the PP director, who is being unfairly attacked through deceptive practices. this whole abortive video is a setup. so don’t call what i said unconscionable.

If you think that PP does not victimize girls and women, then you have to do more research into the aftermath of abortion. The PP employee needs to go to federal prison for aiding and abetting in child prostitution.

well now youre changing the subject completely. i thought the pimp was victimizing people, now it’s PP?

I know all about the aftermath of abortion, thank you vey much. the people at PP are, in my experience, some of the most professional and generous I have ever met.

but let’s return to the topic of intellectual honesty. or let’s just call it reality. PP does not promote prostitution, any indication that they might comes from edited clips that were obtained under false pretenses. however, PP does offer the highest quality womens health services available.

and you seem to again overlooked the fact that there is no child prostitution being committed, so i would have to assume that you would have this women sent to prison for thought crime. but, you clearly are not interested in the truth. all you want is to reinforce the ideas that are already banging around in your head.

I don’t know what MSM is, the term is meaningless to me. However, I do know about logical fallacies. You have used equivocation and ad hominem attacks, and summarily have formed a weak argument.

Let me make a strong argument for why pro-choice is a better position than pro-life.

If the government can force you to carry every pregnancy to term, then it can also compel you to only carry two to term, or to only have one child, or have only boys or only white children.

The pro-life argument is myopic, it does not take the time to think about the unintended consequences of its implementation. The position is basically a plea for theocracy. But I choose liberty.

So, I would defend your right to have as many children as you want to, even if there were health consequences that you understood and accepted, and to not use birth control, regardless of your ability to provide for your progeny, and in return you must defend my right to use birth control and to have access to a safe abortion, at least up until the second trimester. If you can’t live with that, then move to Iran, or some other country where the wise and unerring government makes all the hard choices for the naive and hapless citizenry.

Your position is myopic because you refuse to see that an unborn child is still a child. There are no arguments for pro-choice which make metaphysical sense because no one can come up with the qualities that makes an unborn child not a person, while a born child is a person.

i could come up with those qualities. but again, you are making an equivocation. a baby is a baby, a fetus is a fetus, and an embryo is an embryo. they are three different things.

let me ask you, is an acorn the same thing as an oak tree? is acorn= oak tree a true statement? the answer is: no. to make this a true statement, it would look like: acorn+ soil+ water+ sunlight+ time= oak tree.

let me ask you something else. i’m assuming that you’ve had eggs for breakfast. would you wring a chickens neck with the same vigor at breakfast-time that you crack open your eggs? again i’m assuming, but probably not.

but you have weakened your argument even further by dragging metaphysics into things. first, because it’s just word soup and inherently meaningless, and second because it is an unfalsifiable assertion.

now, i’m going to stop arguing with you until you read up a little on debate. remember, just because you wish something to be true, it doesn’t make it so.

Pro-choice is antithetical to liberty as it strips liberty from an individual (the child)

look up equivocation. a child is not a baby. a baby is not a fetus. a fetus is not an embyo.

you keep making the same weak argument over and over, which boils down to a= b= c. but a b and c are three different things.

it’s like saying people deserve the right to vote, and people are animals, ergo animals should be allowed to vote. (it’s not really, that is an example of affirming the consequent, but i don’t think you can tell the difference.)

furthermore, you are confusing liberty (things the government can’t tell you what to do) with freedom (doing whatever you want to). and just to further muddy the water, the government can limit your life (capital punishment), liberty (prison) and your pursuit of happiness (conscription).

now, i’ll concede that third trimester abortions are pretty awful, but the reality is that 91% of abortions occur during the first trimester. what’s the difference? well, to me, a baby that’s been in the womb for eight months is a baby. i know this because one of my sisters was born a month premature, and she looked like a baby. she started walking and talking about a month after most other babies her age, but it was still a baby.

an embryo at 2 weeks looks like the period at the end of this sentence. babies and embryos are two different things.

i can’t take this anymore, it’s like arguing with a brick wall. it’s like arguing with someone that says, “but up is down. black is white. hotdogs do eat people.”
