Jesus knew they were the men that would be His Apostles . He said they would be “fishers of men.”

Jesus said, " I came for the sinner and the tax collector." If someone is going to temple they hear the word and don’t need to hear Jesus. But fishermen go out into the world and rough seas. They through out their nets and pray for a good catch. It shows hard physical labor. A fisherman has to pull in his catch. A Christian has to work hard and pray long for an unbelieving soul. Then, when the connection clicks he has to haul in the harvest and nurture it; That means to settle him/her in a new church. Teach him how to read his Bible.
