I never ever click on such links, but the point is moot.

Obviously, not every modern song is a Satanic cess-pit of filth and cursing, but the trend toward blatantly sexualized and disgusting lyrics has skyrocketed since even the latter 1960s.
 
Yes. Everyone and his dog can come up with some titles like that. It wasn’t mainstream, and it wasn’t marketed as children’s music.

We have to remember Satan and even the other demons are MUCH MUCH more intelligent than ANY human being, so it is quite likely they have devised ways to trick and fool us into doing things we should not, if we engage in this long enough, eventually it will change us into non-religious people who live for the world…but this is only an opinion, Id imagine Satan has ‘done the math’ on just about every method they use to tempt and trick mankind, it would be literally impossible for a human to ‘out fox’ satan or his demons, we just do not have the intellect.

Plus, Satan KNOWS the big picture, he knows all there is to know about the universe, more about God than we do, and more about the laws of nature, how things work in general, manipulating nature, etc. Point is, there is NO way ANY human could figure out Satan or any of his methods/ tactics. We can guess and speculate, but we arent that smart, so what are the chances of it being correct?

It’s also filled with incest, grisly descriptions of murder, and of course, sex. 🤷

Elementary school children? Nope.

Even disregarding the fact that I can’t be the only one who refuses to click on unknown links, not everyone wants to or has the time to sit and listen to a song. If you want a response, why not just excerpt the lyrics?

But even if you could name a dozen ‘innocent’ songs, and I’m sure many people could, it would have little bearing on the overall trend toward filth in the media.

How about those nursery rhymes that were told to kids for hundreds of years? In their original forms they were all pretty violent and all around disturbing. I guess those dastardly Illuminati have been at it for years :rolleyes:

Again, nobody has established a valid reason for this supposedly super secret organization that runs the world to be making allegedly obvious forays into pop culture.

Even with the proven decline in modern culture, I do not believe in an Illuminati per se.

But oh dear, talk about straw men…using Shakespeare as an argument for the innocence of what is clearly trash?

Might as well use the Bible in that manner, too.

Anyone with a half-developed sense of discernment can see through that ploy: ‘Scripture is filled with murder and fornication so those subjects are obviously okay!’

Still, I suppose it’s no surprise to find Catholics using Shakespeare to defend modern indecency, though it’s a very twisted route to travel.

Who cares what some stupid celebrity does, you either live for god or you live for the devil period. Stop reading silly conspiracy theories and start reading intelligent material.

As a Catholic you have a wealth of material written by Saints and Popes, i suggest you read that instead. Its far more interesting and is good for your eternal salvation.

Given the fact that my PC nearly caught a virus from going on that site, various attacks against our previous pontiff B16, and the occasional hysterics on modern witchcraft… unreliable is an understatement. You’re citing the tabloid trash of the internet here Sky. I would’ve thought you learned your lesson after your reckless citation/defense of Todd and Chick.

I am not saying that Jesus Is Savior is a reliable source. I actually disagree with most of the stuff that site says. All I’m saying is that other, more reliable sources, confirm what I’m trying to say about the Beatles. Read the quote that I posted below. One of the beatles “heroes” was Aleister Crowley, a very famous person who was known for being involved in the occult. John Lennon even quoted him in interviews. If the Beatles weren’t involved in the occult, how else do you explain this (read quote below)?

Good God! And some guy here told me I put up suspicious links (to YouTube no less). Do you cite any website that’s not bookmarked by fringe fundies from the Bible Belt? This tripe isn’t any more credible than jesus-is-savior.

Sir, I would like that you stay away from those ‘sources’ (both for the sake of your intelligence as well as PC safety). If you are insisting that you aren’t a troll, you are clearly making an even poorer case for yourself by citing articles that only trolls would.

So what if Lennon idolized Crowley? I idolize Genghis Khan alongside Oscar Wilde. Does that mean I dance around wearing a goatskin head and sacrifice babies?

The worst you can say is that I adopt views contrary to the Christian worldview (not a problem for me anymore but that’s a different topic). But just because I disagree with Christianity doesn’t mean I’m anything like this:

Crowley was a dangerous, sadistic, and quite possibly man. Some people find it creepy that Lennon ‘idolized’ him.
