Iām praying that some day this kind of division in the Roman Rite will end, and the majority of Catholics will be orthodox, accepting all the magisteriumās pronouncements on its merits.
I tend to be cautious about this angle of āif those I donāt like hate it, then it must be/ is probably a good thing.ā It comes across as letting those we donāt like define our position on an issue.
I personally like to develop my opinion on the validity/ advantages of what I want to advocate rather than disparage other peopleās POV. :twocents:
I recently was inspired by Bl. John XXIIIās famous āprophets of doom and gloomā and I pictured a cartoon drawn of him saying that, and then in the next frame, or surrounding him, all the prophets of the OT, St. John the Baptist, etc.
