If we agree to live in fear for one day then we’re going to live in fear forever.
Today, the terrorists are using the elections as an excuse to murder the “infidels” and they will never run short of other insane excuses in the future, they will find something else; maybe soccer will justify Jihad against the “infidels"!
Omar is on to something - something important - that almost everyone in the West has overlooked. In Iraq the terrorists will kill the people if they vote. The terrorists will also kill the people if they do not vote. That perspective is very important, and is lost to most of us. The people of Iraq know the terrorists are their enemies whether they vote or not. It is that distinction that will pave the way to election success.
