If we found out we were descended from an Alien Race would it mean there is no God?

I don’t have any reason to believe this is true but would it mean that Catholicism is dead or there is no God?
If we sent people to Mars and successfully colonized it would that mean there is no God? No, it doesn’t say anything about the God proposition at all. Discovering that humans didn’t originate on earth wouldn’t be any different.

Yes Thinking Sapien has it right. Just because there are aliens that claim to put us here doesn’t make the aliens our God or any kind of god at all.

Some have said Original Sin would pass into non-existance. Why? It seems to me that Eden makes more sense as an original world of plenty and ease where sin began. Otherwise, Eden is a perfect Earth. That seems more difficult for me to imagine.

There have been numerous science fiction movies and television shows as well as serious people (not making a statement on their validity) that say we are descended from an alien race. One of my favorite shows as a kid was the original star trek. I remember an episode which was about this very subject.

Would like to see what movies, televisions and authors support that we are descendants of aliens and then see if it were true what would it mean to our faith?
Well if we were born of aliens then they are no longer aliens but long lost relatives .

Or are you saying that the God of Genesis represents Aliens with greater technology that makes them capable of “rolling their own” experimental offspring?

I tend to believe God created us here on earth, but it does make you wonder what happens when mankind decides to send bacteria and other small life forms to another planet, just to see what takes off…what would happen if life took hold on that planet and they progressed and progressed over the years and reached the point where we are today, they will be asking those same questions, and in their case, the correct answer would be…mankind is their ‘god’, since we were responsible for their entire creation. It is possible to think this very thing could have happened to us…it definitely raises some good questions and makes one wonder.

My basic theory on aliens…

I think the main reason why the topic in general is kept so hush hush and classified, is the fact all these UFOs and other strange creatures people see, are in fact demons, no one ever said demons cannot have aircraft to come and go, so it makes sense to me, plus the fact that nearly all the video and pictures people manage to snap of these strange UFOs in the sky, come out blurry, or out of focus, etc. that makes me think demons even more.

I tend to think most world Govts know this, as well as the vatican, but to come out to the public and admit this would be a death sentence to the Govt, they would be willingly admitting the existence of demons in the world, thus there must also be a God too…Govts would NEVER say anything like that, publicly anyway.

But, even if they are from another planet, far away, or another dimension, it really does not matter, they would still be just another creation of Gods, We all know God loves to create, just look at the diversity on earth since he created it…the dinosaurs, man, etc!! WOW!! Therefore, it is probably foolish to even suggest God stopped creating after mankind, I imagine he has created billions and billions of life, species out there in the universe. The bible even mentions his ‘other flocks’ he must tend to.

It is sad to see people joking and laughing about this issue though, it would be the biggest discovery in the history of the planet, and if they are far more advanced than we are, which is pretty likely, it will also probably not be good for mankind, as when those 2 come together, the lesser advanced is always enslaved or annihilated.NEVER, do the 2 races get along and live together!!!

!
Humans would be responsible for transplanting their ancestors and agents of panspermia. Both humans and other lifeforms have already transplanted other species from one “island” that can sustain life to another. Often times without intention.
