I also think that all junior/high school kids ought to see a good film about the development of the baby in the womb. Or, if the school won’t show them, then rent or buy a good film on the subject and show it to the kids at home.
 
Oh man would I like that sunroof right now!!! It would be so cool to see! I have to agree with whoever came up with the sun-roof theory. If women could just take a peek at their baby when they feel all alone, and realize they aren’t alone they have a baby growing in them, not some glob of cells that planned parenthood tries to tell you it is…but a real life flesh and blood baby!
 
It is an admirable quotation… It takes light to see through the darkness… Darkness that the culture of death wishes to keep in it’s shadows. The light shows the way and for that we must pray, especially for those lurking in the dark- because from the start, it takes a conversion of heart.

I wish this were true, but unfortunately people kill newborns, infants, toddlers, children also with frightening regularity. It is not lack of knowledge that is the cause of most abortions, it is fear, and lack of love.

Keep praying.

Good news, but not yet a done deal. This bill was passed yesterday in the S.C. House of Representatives by a vote of
91-23; it still must pass the state Senate where opposition is expected to be stronger. If it passes the Senate it will be signed into law by Governor Mark Sanford who supports the bill. Let us pray!
 
I’ve always been PL but I saw just an everyday, run of the mill, ultra sound of a 20week old foetus in a patient who had slight bleeding. It was the most incredible thing I’d seen. I’d seen plenty of stills, but to watch that baby in there moving about, it was so amazing! You could see every detail of the verterbrae, even the face was visble. Her BF was with her and he stands there and says: “Holy (swear), it really is a baby”.

After he asked me if abortion was still legal at that point, I said it was all through out pregnancy in NZL, as our laws work, he was so horrified. It was good news that he “converted” as he was in the particular age and ethnic group where abortions are at their highest.

The whole experience made me all the more PL!! 👍
 
I am a nanny and I take one of my charges to baby gym.
There is a lady there who is pregnant and she has the most amazing tshirt. She has had the ultrasound picture of her baby printed on the shirt right where her belly is. It is a stretchy shirt and the picture looks like there is a window into her womb!

It is so cool!
 
We just started the first pro life group on my campus, and I think I just got an idea for one of our campaigns! “Window to the Womb”, ultrasound pics everywhere on campus…Our second mtg is tomorrow night and we discuss event ideas!:dancing:
 
Don’t hold your breath. Humans have a strange capacity for brutality. If there were a window, a tragic number would simply refuse to look through it.

Germans in Nazi Germany pretended not to see.
Aztecs in the era of infant sacrifice closed their eyes.

Americans rationalize killing their children the same way, window or not.
 
Well, they don’t, so you’re going to have to get out there and work hard.
 
Think you might say a prayer or two after this article…it breaks one’s heart. You know, I heard Fr John Corapi sat beside a woman on an airplane and he ended up finding out that she was a witch fasting FOR abortions that day…it made me blush, do I fast AGAINST abortion?😊

Catholic Exchange we think of hell, we might imagine screams coming out of the flames, or the sinister laughter of the devil. But the sound I recently heard coming from there was that of applause.
