As a matter of fact, I do.I, I, I, look how many times you have set yourself up as the authority! You have No ONE to turn to as the final authority.
My baptismal and membership vows include allegiance to and living by the rituals, doctrines, and Discipline of the United Methodist Church. My ordination vows do the same. I cannot officially speak for the United Methodist Church; only the General Conference and the Book of Discipline (our canon law) can.
I don’t recall anywhere saying that the Catholic Church was not a faithful and true church, nor do I remember saying that I could stop Christ’s Church… or would even want to.You can throw anything at Her you want but she will continue to carry out her work given by Jesus Christ Himself. If the “Gates of Hell” can’t stop Christ’s Church, what makes you think you can!!! You alone have to decide what side you want to be on and when. Many prayers and God Bless, Memaw.
As far as “sides”, I have, and always will, serve the Lord.
