Looks like I’m getting my wish! Anne Rice’s “Christ the Lord - Out of Egypt” is in production right now and will hit the theaters for Easter 2016! I loved those two books (Out of Egypt" and “The Road to Cana”) and can’t wait to see this movie.

YAY!!! She’s one of the screen writers for this movie, so hopefully, it will stay true to her novel. I love both books, but especially loved “Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt”. It was written from the young Jesus’s point of view. I loved that she kept Him as a normal little boy, but He begins to discover that He can seem to do things that other little boys can’t. There are also some wonderful scenes where Mary and Joseph discuss Jesus and how to keep His divinity a secret and explain things to Him in ways that a 7 yr old child can understand.

I saw the trailer for that movie and Jesus looked like a girl.

I would actually expec Jesus to look like a guy. And plus Jesus has GOD’s DNA.
