If you can pick your own theme song

My wife said Yakety Sax. Then we watched you tube videos and laughed and laughed.
 
I think I would pick Moon River for my theme song from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. As sung by Andy Williams. I think I am a lot like Audrey Hepburn’s character Holly Golightly (?).

I didn’t pick a pop song. Mine was a hymn. I can’t think of a secular song which fits me, maybe something by Queen or Pink Floyd. I used to think “Princes of the Universe” fit me, but I don’t have that kind of ego anymore. Alternatively Vivaldi’s seasons would be great, or Gustav Holst “Jupiter” or “Mars.”

Well, we have an amazing Jesuit retreat center here. It’s sung as a post-communion song at every Mass.

It doesn’t lend itself terribly well to congregational singing.
But if you have a few people who are not locked into the 4 part 4 line thump thump idea of hymnody, it can be really effective.

I’m staying with “The Impossible Dream” from The Man of La Mancha. Jack Jones did a nice pop version.

I love the line “willing to march into hell for a Heavenly cause.”
 
I’ve said this to loved ones before, my official theme song is the 8 1/2 theme song by Nino Rota. Or the theme from the White Sheik, also by Nino Rota.

Both very similar, because at times I feel like I am stuck in a Fellini film.
 
I notice none of the boys on CAF chose…“Sharp Dressed Man”. 😃
