Because we were all CALLED!

It is so simple.

Peace, out
Very well said 🙂

As all ready listed Jesus Christ established His church on earth which is the Roman Catholic Church. It has at its head the resurrected Saviour.

Jesus and Mary. They are one so it’s “one reason” 😃 Mary is “all beautiful” and Jesus is our great treasure 👍

Proper veneration of Our Lady.

Seen, I think, in literally no other churches.

My one reason:

Jesus Christ

Everything else falls into place when you understand Him.

The fact that the Catholic Church possesses the full truth. How about you clarkal? What would you answer??

As a convert, for me it came down to authority. Who has it and who doesn’t and why. 😉
I completely agree. And I’m a cradle Catholic who never “fell away.” I could say all the other things I would NEVER want to leave. But when faced with apologetics and what the potential outcomes could be, authority is it!

My #1 reason-------Authority: The chair of Peter.
“The Lord says to Peter: ‘I say to you,’ he says, ‘that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church.’ . . . On him [Peter] he builds the Church, and to him he gives the command to feed the sheep [John 21:17], and although he assigns a like power to all the apostles, yet he founded a single chair [cathedra], and he established by his own authority a source and an intrinsic reason for that unity. Indeed, the others were that also which Peter was , but a primacy is given to Peter, whereby it is made clear that there is but one Church and one chair. So too, all [the apostles] are shepherds, and the flock is shown to be one, fed by all the apostles in single-minded accord. If someone does not hold fast to this unity of Peter, can he imagine that he still holds the faith? If he [should] desert the chair of Peter upon whom the Church was built, can he still be confident that he is in the Church?” (The Unity of the Catholic Church 4; 1st edition [A.D. 251] Cyprian of Carthage).

The Real Presence of Jesus–I get tears in my eyes every single time I hear our priest say “This is the Lamb of God…”

If I were not an atheist? I would answer that I believed in the Catholic Church because I think the evidence greatly favors it.

Jesus Christ - He’s the only reason why I remain in Christianity at all!!

Does your answer mean you are open to further searching of this evidence?

History. The Catholic Church is the original Christian Church. All other claimants bear the burden of proof.

It depends what you mean. If you mean the greatest defense of the faith, I would say apostolic succesion. If you mean the greatest part of Catholicism and the thing that no one should do without, I would say The Eucharist.

Sola Scriptura. I personally feel it is the most absurd idea in all of theology. I believe that once you know the facts and look into it, the idea of Protestantism completely falls apart. I think it’s really that big a deal. If I had to pick one point that can rip apart the notion of Protestantism in general, it is Sola Scriptura because of the absolute clearness and simplicity of the fact that it’s just not true. When someone looks into the history of where teh Bible came from, I really feel that Sola Scriptura crumbles into so massive a wreck of debris that no person can really believe in any theology that teaches it.

The Eucharist. JOHN 6:55-56 is my reason. “For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.”

That’s the bottom line right there. No one can argue with that.
