I’d appreciate it.
Unrelated things, but anyway…
Yesterday I had cause to be involved with a joint operation with both county sheriff’s deputies and a special agent from the FBI (drugs/arms bust). I screwed up on a protocol thing (jurisidictional, who had to defer to who, all that jazz), and my boss is mad at me. The operations sergeant talked to him and kind of cooled him off a little, but I guess he’s still not real happy. So if you could pray for me regarding that, that it’ll all blow over or whatever God wants, I’d appreciate it.
On the plus side, today we went out to look at some dogs (my wife has been hot blocks to get another dog or a cat for the last three months), and we ended up (to everyone’s surprise, including ours) with a three-month old puppy; she is a female purebred Australian Cattle Dog…sometimes they’re known as Blue Heelers, except that this one is a more rare Red Heeler. Anyway, her name is Tootsie Roll and she’s the sweetest thing you ever saw. I only agreed to a puppy because we all fell in love with her, so I was willing to put up with the bother of a puppy. My wife has had Heelers in the past and is delighted with this one, and my son loves her as well, so I think she’ll work out fine, but this is the first night away from her momma and siblings, so I expect some yowling and crying. If you could pray for this as well, that’d be great.
Thanks, guys. You all are the greatest.
