AJ I love your faith, and you are a awesome dude, and I swear I am not trying to pick you apart. But Paul said he could not judge himself, and prays for God’s mercy. Think about this Paul. look what paul gave up. His life for Jesus and he knew he still could not judge himself. Why would you feel that Paul who was picked by Jesus, given the power of the Holy SPirt says this, and then you would be right and Paul wrong.
Paul of all people understood more than he led to believe.
He was in the midst of a religious revlution to a people who were schooled in the laws of Moses.

Therefore, he had to speak in a language they could understand and in simple terms.
Ref: 1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

It is my understanding that Paul knew about His Judgement in Jesus therefore He could not make that judgment nor anyone else could judge him as well.

But Paul did understand that in order to be a child of God, one must have Christ.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which **I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. **

Now you claim Paul knew about his judgement? Now where in the bible does Paul claim that he knows about his judgement?

Heres is scripture. Take you time, but I would really like to hear your reply’s.

Heb 9:12 Christs sacrifice secured our redemption but redemption is not the same as salvation. We participate and hope for salvation.

Rom 5:2 we rejoice and hope of sharing the glory of God. If salvation is abslutely assured after acceptiong Jesus as Savior why would Paul hope.

rom 10:1 Paul prays that the jews may be saved. Why pray if its guaranteed.

2 cor 3:12 since we have hope (not a certainly) we are very bold, We can be bold whenwe are in Gods grace and preservering in ovedient faith.

gal 5:5 for through the spirit of faith we wait for the hope of righteous. again hope not for sure

eph 6:10-17 Paul instructs the ephesians to take the whole armor of God the breastplate of righteous and the helmet of salvation in order TO STAND LEST THEU FAIL Paul does not give the assurance that the spiritual battle is already won.

Matt 7:18 Jesus says that sound trees bear good fruit but there is no guarantee that a sound tree will stay sound it could go rotten.

rom 13:11 for salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. If we are already saved then how can we only be nearer to it,

THIS IS MY MOST CLEAR YET

1 cor 4:4 Paul says he is not aware of anything against himself but he still not acquitted. Paul is not presumptuous about his salvation only the Lord is our Judge.

1 cor 6:9-11 we can be washed sanctified and jsutified yet paul still warns us that we can be deceived and become unrighteous.

I am sorry my friend I actually am quite glad I cannot judge myself. Because I am hoping for Gods mercy. Who am I to speak for God and make any kind of judgement. For myself or others. I know I cannot do that, I like Paul can live the best I know, follow the ten commandments the best I can and HOPE FOR GODS MERCY. LIKE Paul said a million times HOPE.
