Paul of all people understood more than he led to believe.AJ I love your faith, and you are a awesome dude, and I swear I am not trying to pick you apart. But Paul said he could not judge himself, and prays for God’s mercy. Think about this Paul. look what paul gave up. His life for Jesus and he knew he still could not judge himself. Why would you feel that Paul who was picked by Jesus, given the power of the Holy SPirt says this, and then you would be right and Paul wrong.
He was in the midst of a religious revlution to a people who were schooled in the laws of Moses.
Therefore, he had to speak in a language they could understand and in simple terms.
Ref: 1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
It is my understanding that Paul knew about His Judgement in Jesus therefore He could not make that judgment nor anyone else could judge him as well.
But Paul did understand that in order to be a child of God, one must have Christ.
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which **I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. **
