If I had a chance to create my mother and the point would be to lead a life and be tempted like everybody else but to be without sin and not give in to temptation, then I wouldn’t make my mother immaculate.

Well let me rephrase (I might have been unclear in what I meant):

If I had a chance to create my mother and the point would be for me to lead a life and be tempted like everybody else but to be without sin and not give in to temptation, then I wouldn’t make my mother immaculate.

My mother is all I want her to be.

See I could not do better then God can. God made her the way he wanted her to be for her family. You don’t mess with God’s perfection. Why would I want her to be immaculate anyway? She is perfect to me the way God created her to be.

Humanity’s first parents - Adam and Eve - were created without sin. As Mary was.

God the Son didn’t “need” His Mother filled with grace, but humanity does.

I think you are missing the point of why I asked. My bad! We know that Jesus loves His mother more than we can even possibly fathom, and more than we could possibly love our own mothers, and, if you and I, (who could never love like Jesus, who is love) - could create our mothers, we would create our mothers completely full of grace, and we would, due to our love for our mothers, then certainly Jesus would do the same for His mother???

I didn’t mean if we could literally create our mothers, as if we are unhappy with them. I was speaking analogically. If we, who couldn’t possibly love on the same scale of Jesus, would create our mother, free of the stain of sin, then certainly Jesus would do the same - right?

The reason, I believe, is because 1) our First mother, Eve, introduced original sin into the human makeup and thus everyone born of woman is flawed from birth. 2) Jesus, as a Holy God, cannot reside in an unHoly, i.e., sinful, place for even an instant much less for 9 months of gestation. 3) Mary, by virtue of being human was destined to be born of original sin and thus unworthy to carry the Holy of Holies, God Himself, therefore, 4) Jesus, in his Perfection, consecrated Mary to be void of sin by an Immaculate birth and subsequently by living a sin free life. Since God exists outside of time, Mary needed to be sinless forever always. 5) Now that Jesus has died on the cross and was resurrected, ALL who live and partake of Christ may achieve that same Holy and Perfect state of grace.

So while Jesus loves his earthly, human, mother, He loves ALL of us infinitely and without measure.

Are you suggesting that the sinlessness of Jesus is somehow caused by the IC?
