Hi. My son is having a very hard time at a job that he started about four months ago. His present supervisor is really raking him over the coals. If you have a moment, would you say a prayer for him and one for this woman who has absolutely no heart. Thanks.
fmn;)

Jobs are so rare that I’m sure that your son is afraid to say anything that would endanger his position which makes it even worse. I will surely say a heartfelt prayer for him to prosper in his work and have the courage to ignore the unfair criticism he’s recieving. And an extra prayer for you too. Moms need a prayer or two for just being there for their kids!

I’m sorry forgetmenot…I will keep your son in my prayers.

:cool:still praying for your son it will be OK because it is in God’s hands.

Lord please help ths young man to grow and develop wise ways to deal with even the most difficult person like this woman. If here is some way to disarm her, please give him the grace to know how to do this reasonably. Be with him, Lord. Please surround him with your light and love and peace.

I pray that your son and his supervisor will be able to work well
together and that your son can remain in his job.

Yeah, I need to get a little stronger, as it is so upsetting for me to watch him be so upset. He is young, insecure, and has little confidence at this point. This is his first ‘real’ job, which started off well, but now with this new person in charge he is falling apart and is afraid he will lose his job. I just spent about an hour or so talking with him. He has already been crying. I am at a loss. I prayed so hard for him to get this job, and now it’s falling apart. Please pray for him to get through this. I firmly believe in the power of prayer. :bible1: Thank you. fmn

awww! 😦 I’ve said a prayer for him. I hope his boss will lighten up soon. There is a guy at my job that has become the whipping boy for the boss and he never deserves the treatment he gets. Its so sad.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven…
hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come…
Thy Will be done…
on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses…
as we forgive those,
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the beginning…
is now and ever shall be…
world without end. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace…
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and Blessed is the Fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God…
pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

So here’s the latest, and thank you for your prayers…
I’ve been walking at lunch time to the Church I attended when I was a little girl. Don’t live in the area, but work not too far away. Started doing this late last week, because his problems seemed to be growing. It was last Thursday when I prayed to the Blessed Mother, asking for her intercession with God and her Son - a statue in the Church with the Baby Jesus got me motivated to pray to her; a nearby ‘Station of the Cross’ got me thinking about how innocent her Son was and how he was put to death. It must’ve been so painful for her. I can only imagine. And yet, I feel she has been working on my son’s behalf. My son is my innocent child, so I know she understands.
That night, I ran into an acquaintance, and found out he was a union rep. He advised my son’s rights were violated. Then on the next day, his supervisor complimented him on something, lifting his spirits a tad. Today, he was moved to another supervisor. My believe is that this is a good thing, though he thinks otherwise. He is not very confident these days.
Prayer is very powerful, and, whenever I am able, and that’s been several days now, I will take that walk to Church, even though it’s for ten minutes to walk around, pray, and talk to God and Mary.
Thank you, all. Keep him in your prayers, please.:knight2:
p.s. a friend of mine told me to have him carry a shield of faith - this I’ve told him to do, though my son is not the practicing kind, which is another story… but still, I know that inside his heart is God. For that, I am continually praying.

I will keep him in my prayers too while praying the Rosary.

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee, Blessed art Thou amongst women, and Blessed is the Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Hello, everyone -
Well, things are better, and he seems to be getting through this, and working very hard. The new supervisor let him know first day that she and the old are ‘good friends’ - can you imagine? But, he’s working through this, and he seems to not be as upset as before. He actually admitted to me last week that he’s been praying a couple times! There are other issues in his life, and the job thing is not the worst of it, though it really took a toll on me while it was taking a toll on him. He is working better with the supervisor these days, though she is tough on him.
I appreciate your prayers for him.
I am grateful to the support of everyone here.
