Know one knows the Father except the Son. Know one has seen the Father except the Son who comes from the Father and know one goes to the Father except through the Son.

Who is God? Only the Son (Jesus) reveals the Father and the Father reveals the Son and the HolySpirit declares in Truth and makes the revelation of God known to our humanity and it is He the Spirit of Truth that declares this Truth.

This divine knowledge and revelation from the Word of God who is God incarnate (Jesus Christ) exposes all false prophets and man made false god’s.

If you are hungry and thirsty for Truth, go to Jesus who gives the living water that quenches all thirst and His divine bread and wine that removes all hunger (eternally). For man does not live on bread alone, but by every Word of God.

Peace be with you
Agree with you Gabriel of 12. So, if God says the greatest commandment is to love Him and what you have explained above, which is what the Bible (His inspired Word) says that God is a Trinitarian God, do those who do not love a Trinitarian God really love the revealed God of the Bible?

Please allow me to get this out first; No human being can define the mystery of the Trinity, nor can man define God or ever reach God’s essence.

God has revealed His presence to creation in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Those who do not have the Son never have the Father, nor the Spirit to proclaim Jesus is Lord.

Those who reject the correct revealed Trinity, cannot reject what they do not know.

For example; Islam teaches from It’s Quran and rejects a heretical (Arian) view of the Christian Trinity, to be Jesus, His Mother and the Father, Islam’s view of the Trinity does not have the Spirit of God to reveal the Trinity to Islam, because Islam reject’s the third person of the Blessed Trinity, It is the Holy Spirit who declares and make known what the Father wills and the works of the Son in all of creation from the beginning.

When one loves the One God our creator with out knowing the Son. These love God from their nature and natural creation. Just like all the majestic Mountains, the grass and trees, animals, fishes to the stars all give glory to God from their created being, from the natural.

These all return to dust from their fallen nature. Man and creation love God from their natural state of being. One does not question one’s faith or Love for the One God Creator of heaven and earth. Who can’t reject the Trinity, because they have to die from the natural law of creation (Old Covenant) that returns to the dust, and rise “again” in the super natural which is of the Spirit that fulfills the natural law in order to raise us up into the new eternal covenant of God, that remains eternally in the eternal Spirit.

Baptism is for those who seek to be taught by God himself and not from man. Once these new neophytes have entered the kingdom of God, it is here, when God reveals himself to us in the Holy Spirit. Jesus has given humanity the “Pillar and bulwark of Truth” which is His body the Catholic Church on earth for her to tend us and feed us, with what God has first hand revealed to her by eyewitness historical living accounts today.

No man by himself keeps the Old Covenant Law, that is why the Hebrews added many more disciplinary laws to the divine law to keep them from breaking the law of God, because the Law convicts us to death.** NO MAN CAN OR EVER KEEP THE LAW.**

What God did, He sent His Son, so that God can give us His Spirit so that we can keep the Law and the way we keep and fulfill the law of God, is the way His Son revealed to us; By Love and Sacrifice.

Know one can Love God, Love their neighbor as themselves or love their enemies on their own, without the advocate of God the Holy Spirit who teaches, reveals and who is Lord the giver of life.

Thus it is the Holy Spirit, who gives us the grace, mercy and strength to fulfill the law and the prophets, which is Love. Because man without the Holy Spirit and without the Son, can never fulfill the Law. Man needs a helper our advocate the Holy Spirit, who declares the works of the Son and reveals them to our humanity, when the Son is our advocate between God and the human race. That is why no man goes to the Father except througth the Son.

Moses and prophets gained the presence of God, via burning bush, Cloud, fire, ark of the Covenant, but these came through the “WORD” of God, which all foreshadowed the Word of God who became flesh, human in every way except sin.

Man never invents the blessed Trinity. God reveals this from the Father who reveals the Son, who revealed all about the Son beginning from Moses, the Law, the prophets, the Psalms. Please read all of Luke 24, when Jesus opened the Old Covenant scriptures to the Mind of the Church, who is the body of Jesus Christ our head.

**Those who do not know what God revealed in the blessed Trinity, cannot love what they do not know. Yes, the natural man can Love the One God our creator from his natural state.

To love the Trinity, one has to die to the natural law of the Covenant by baptism and be raised in the eternal Covenant of God in the Spirit, who declares the revelation of the Blessed Trinity which remains a mystery that is eternal.**

Peace be with you

Several of Jesus’ commands that you cite were already in place in the Hebrew Bible and Oral Law, including repentance, belief (in the Torah rather than the Gospel), forgiveness of others, and loving thy neighbor, even thine enemy (“Rejoice not when thine enemy falls,” for example). As I had stated, Rabbi Hillel the Elder distilled the essence of the Law into the two commandments to love G-d and love thy neighbor prior to Jesus.
Yes, Jesus came to fulfill the law…not abolish it. The 10 commandments seen in Exodus are still in effect…but not the other 600plus laws that were meant to try to keep them from breaking the first 10 commandments. The first three ordered to God…and the last 7 ordered toward our neighbor. That is how we are to love God…by loving our neighbor. Which is very difficult to do if we do not put God first before all.

But never was there a Jew or Hebrew that loved his enemy so much that a Jew or Hebrew would give his life for his enemy?

Jesus a Jew from the lineage of King David Loved His enemies to His death.

We as natural human being’s can never love our enemies by ourselves. The only way for this divine teaching that fulfills the Law, requires a divine intervention. Only Love who is God conquers all enemies by Love.

The law which Rabbi Hillel the Elder speaks of reveals what all the prophets have been revealing to Israel throughout history. God will replace their natural stony hearts, by placing His Spirit in their flesh hearts. Thus it is by the Spirit that the law and the prophets are fulfilled. Which raises the natural law into the Spirit of the Law which never ends, which is Love.

Although the decalogue states the commandments, and prophets speak of it’s coming fulfillment of Love of God love of neighbor. The law could never be kept by men.

I agree that a finite mind cannot understand the essence of an Infinite Trinitarian God perfectly. We are imperfect, finite beings and until we reached Glorification, we will not understand this as God does.

I also agree with your first bolded statement up until the second sentence. That is where it gets fuzzy. Here comes my bombardment of questions…some just as thoughts. Was the Trinity present at creation? Did the Son and the Spirit have anything to do with Creation? Can someone still love the Creator God but choose to reject the Trinitarian God who IS the Creator God? Also, I have come across those on this forum who have been made aware of the Trinity, who have been shown the Scripture, who have been taught the Theology and still choose to reject The Son and Spirit. Without the Savior, there is ***no ***eternal life. And clearly from Scripture, withOUT the Son, you do not have the Father or the Spirit.

I thought of this verse regarding what I highlighted in green-1 Cor. 2: 12Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. 13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.

14 ***The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, ***and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16 “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Thank you for the information. However, the Hebrew Bible and the Talmud are strewn with verses about loving our enemy, from Exodus (in particular, caring for our enemy’s animals) to Job, from Leviticus to Proverbs and Wisdom. For example, Leviticus states thou shalt not harbor hatred toward thy brother in thine heart and the Book of Proverbs attests to feeding thine enemy when he is hungry and giving him drink when he is thirsty. Moreover, the word “neighbor” in the Hebrew Bible often means both friend AND enemy. Again, Rabbi Hillel expressly uses the Hebrew word which denotes all men, not just friends. Even the criminal, about to be executed, is commanded to be treated with tenderly love. Insofar as the Law being kept, Deuteronomy informs us that it is not so difficult as might be imagined, and if and when we transgress, the act of repentance is always heard by a merciful and forgiving G-d.

I agree with all you have revealed here. Yes it is true, the Old Covenant of God gave us the decalougue and the prophets broke it down to loving God and loving neighbor. But man alone cannot keep the Law and the prophets of Loving God with all our being and loving neighbor as ourselves. Never mind loving ones enemies, which requires a divine presence to reach such a level of love for an enemy as to sacrifice oneself out of love for ones enemy.

God created man from dust and water in the natural. Man just lays there as a natural man all by himself.

Yet when God breathed his life into the nostrils of the first Adam, man became a living being. This new life given to the natural created man, was given by a divine act of God, so that man can become a living being and fell from grace only to return to the dust from which man came, but the life source came from God, and God’s word never returns void. But that’s another subject.

The example above; introduces the new creation established by Jesus the Son of God in the Son of man. Because if Jesus human in every way except sin, paid the ransom of death which the law demands a death by blood for the remission of sin.

It is from this payment from Jesus who died for our sins in the true lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

We are able to recieve new life which the law can never give. This new life, the prophets speak of, when we are given that divine life to be able to love God, love our neighbor in the spirit of the law which fulfills the law and the prophets. When God breathe’s or infuses his spirit into our dead bodies through water baptism we are given the Spirit of God, the grace, divine life to love God, Love neighbor and love our enemies.

Yes, I agree with you, the law and the prophets speak of loving God, loving neighbor but could never do it alone. It takes an act of God and a free will from those who believe in God, that God can take away our sin, and give us new life eternal, to love God, love neighbor and love our enemies. For we cannot follow the law or the prophets by ourselves.

Peace be with you

“Rejoice not when thine enemy falls” seems more like a “though shalt not gloat” directive than a call to “love your enemy”. There is quite a bit of difference between the two.

I also agree with your first bolded statement up until the second sentence. That is where it gets fuzzy. Here comes my bombardment of questions…some just as thoughts. Was the Trinity present at creation?
Yes, although the Trinity is not revealed until the Word became flesh and revealed the Trinity.

John1:1-14 reveals that the Word was in the beginning and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

Genesis records “God said” and that Word God spoke was His Word from the beginning and John states from chapter 1, that all things came into being through the Word and reveals that the Word became flesh.

Were is the Spirit in all this creation? He hovered over the waters and when God spoke, the Spirit proceeded from the Father through, in and from His Word and made known those things which did not exist into existence. For the Spirit is the Lord the giver of life who speaks through the prophets, He does not speak from the prophets.

Genesis also records God saying; “Let US make man in OUR image”. The Trinity is revealed in the plurality of Words that point not to the essence of God, but His presence known by creation to be the divine economy, the Father who sends His Spirit to be the gift of life to all of His creation and the Son who proceeds from the Father to do the Father’s will from which all things visible came from the invisible.
Did the Son and the Spirit have anything to do with Creation?
Yes, God said, “let there be” and it came to be. The voice is the Father, in, with and through His Word “let there be” that he begets and sends to do His Will, all things came from His Word, who does his Father’s will and from dust and water from that Word man became flesh. But man does not become a living being until the third person of the blessed Trinity perfects creation by giving His life of breathe, which proceeds from the voice (Father), and the Word (Son).

Genesis reveals the Father (voice), the Son (Word) and the Holy Spirit are eternal being One God, never divided or separated, with no division or confusion.

Thus when God said “Let us” One God begins the beginning of creation, when the Word was with God and the Word was God because He comes from God. You cannot divine trinity because the Father is the cause of creation, the Son is the creative cause and the Holy Spirit gives the works (creation) of the Son his life.

When the voice, the word and the breathe of God are all three distinct living divine persons never divided, at the same time One God in divinity without separation.

Something to consider here; The Essence of God never comes to us, less we die. God’s presence is known to us in the persons of the Trinity, the voice from the Father, the Word whom the Father sends and the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who is the Lord the giver of life.

Can someone still love the Creator God but choose to reject the Trinitarian God who IS the Creator God?
Neither is distinct from the other both examples you give is One God. One God is spoken of in Essence unapproachable by human standards. Trinity is spoken of as One God who reveals from His presence to all of Creation, by the divine economy revealed in that ONE NAME Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

So if one loves the Creator God, unknowingly loves the presence of God in the Trinity of persons. If one rejects the Trinity, while loving the Creator God, reaches for God, but never enter’s into God’s presence through the Son to the Father in the Holy Spirit.

If one loves the Creator God, while rejecting the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit Loves Creator God from afar in his/her fallen humanity. Does God who is the creator love these, Yes and reaches out to them, when God sends His Son. Because man alone no matter how much he loves his creator, can never reach God’s essence. Yet God’s presence comes to save us and commune with us via Trinity.
Also, I have come across those on this forum who have been made aware of the Trinity, who have been shown the Scripture, who have been taught the Theology and still choose to reject The Son and Spirit.
It is difficult to judge the heart, but God knows. Denying or rejecting theology or a teaching of divine revelation without practicing and living it, cannot truly reject the Trinity. A perfect example would be a Catholic Priest who lived the sacramental divine economy and then reject Him, is a very rare, rare, rare case. But that is the only example of one who knows the Trinity in all knowledge revealed by God and then reject it.

Your example deals with a person’s disposition, prejudices, lack of understanding of Trinity doctrine divinely revealed to our humanity. Does God love these, the answer will always be yes.
Without the Savior, there is ***no ***eternal life. And clearly from Scripture, withOUT the Son, you do not have the Father or the Spirit.
Without the Trinity, you don’t have a God who speaks, nor a God who loves with His presence. For without the Trinity, no one can see God. and no one can enter’s God’s essence let alone his presence because they deny the Son or God’s Word, which is divine revelation in both the Old and New Covenants.

Yes, that is one interpretation. Why, however, should one be told not to rejoice? Perhaps because one’s enemies are also the children of G-d, whom we should at least respect if not love. How about in Proverbs where it states we should feed our enemy when he is hungry and give him drink when he is thirsty? See also portions of Exodus, Job, Wisdom of Solomon, etc.

Yes. These are all instructions from God, not to do harm. There seems to be some distance between that and an instruction to love thy neighbor as yourself. Even your enemy.

My scripture quote was from 1 Corinthians 2:14-
“The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him…”

You said in another post, “Yes, the natural man can Love the One God our creator from his natural state.”

I disagree with your statement. No, the natural man cannot love the One God. “The mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, indeed it cannot; and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” Those who are in the flesh (the natural man) cannot please God nor submit to His law. “They may have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. Being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” But believes in what? Believes in Christ as the one who perfectly obeyed and fulfilled the law. That He died, was buried and was physically raised from the dead and appeared to those whom He chose. How is one able to believe these things? Through the work of the Holy Spirit.

(In another post you said that the Trinity was present and involved in creation, to which I would agree.)

In the above statement you suggest that “without the Trinity, you do not have a God that speaks”.

I am suggesting that without the belief in the Trinity, one(the natural man) has *a *god that they may serve, but that person does not worship and serve *thee *God and cannot *love *thee Creator God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That God is foolishness or a stumbling block to him/her. Therefore, it is impossible for that person to follow the First and Greatest Commandment. (Which to get on topic, is what the thread is about)

ephesians2;11796183]My scripture quote was from 1 Corinthians 2:14-
“The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him…”]
This is true; a perfect example would be the Eucharist, Sacraments and the Mass. The Spirit of Truth declares them, while the natural person does not discern them nor can they enter them, without the Spirit of God, who reveals them. Those who are baptised in the blessed Trinity, recieve the gift’s of the Spirit and the gift of faith which supersedes all carnal understanding of the flesh.
You said in another post, “Yes, the natural man can Love the One God our creator from his natural state.”
The old covenant is considered the natural law pertaining to the flesh or outer thus the cutting or circumcision. The first 3 commandments deal with love for God, the last 7 deal with love of neighbor. The law convicts those who do not obey the law. Thus the law is followed by the natural “flesh”. These love God and neighbor according to the law which convicts. The prophets were sent to reveal to the Hebrews to love God and neighbor from the heart, wihch they all failed from the natural.

The rich man asked Jesus; “What must I do to have eternal life”? Jesus responded; “Love God with all your heart, mind and strenght” and second law is like the first Love your neighbor as yourself". The rich man replied “I have done all of these”. Jesus responded if you want to be perfect, “go sell all your possessions and give the surplus to the poor and follow me”. The rich man went away sad, because his love from his heart was in his wealth not in God and neighbor.

Ghandi a professed Hindu, practiced the Christian virtues of Loving God, loving neighbor and he loved his enemies, from his natural humanity and was martyred for doing so, just like the good theif on the cross. We don’t need to go into purgatory at this time, which purges by heavenly fire all those things that not worthy of heaven, but loving God, loving neighbor, loving enemy practiced virtues will crown these in heaven everything else will be burned off or removed, for nothing unclean enter’s heaven.
I disagree with your statement. No, the natural man cannot love the One God. “The mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, indeed it cannot; and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”
Three things here, 1. those who possess the spirit of the anti-christ who reject Jesus come in the flesh and 2. those who of the natural human state by no fault of their own do not know the True revelations of Jesus Christ.3. Those who submit to God’s law in the old covenant according to the flesh “natural order” all of these failed. Blood of goats and bulls never pleased God, but “a body you prepared for me” does.

The natural old covenant prefigured or foreshadowed the things revealed in the new covenant. The old covenant loved God from the natural flesh, while in the new covenant these are Christians who love God with both the flesh and the Spirit, it is the spirit that fulfills the law of God, not the flesh.

Peace be with you

ephesians2;(In another post you said that the Trinity was present and involved in creation, to which I would agree.)
In the above statement you suggest that “without the Trinity, you do not have a God that speaks”.
Those without the Trinity, do not have ears to hear or eyes to see, what the Blessed Trinity reveals in the Spirit of Truth to our humanity.

Without the Trinity, no one can go to the Father except through the Son. Without the Trinity, man attempts to reach the essence of God from his submission of his flesh to God his creator, these never hear from God nor can they see God. Because God does not come to creation in His Essence, less we all die.

God reveals His presence to us, by His Voice (the Father), by His Word (the Son) and by His breath (the Holy Spirit) who is the lord the giver of life.

Without the Blessed Trinity, or those who reject the Trinity, do not have ears or eyes to see what God reveals from the Trinity of persons. Thus their faith in God by submission of the flesh does not please God, they please themselves and recieve their reward in the flesh by showing their submission to others, which does not please God. But we cannot judge their ignorance or their rejection, Only God knows the hearts of these men.

To those who reject the blessed Trinity, can hold to what God has spoken from the old covenant of the flesh. These do not have ears to hear what God fulfilled and reveals in the new Covenant of the Spirit which supersedes the covenant of the flesh. Because the covenant of the Spirit is eternal it will never end. The old covenant of the flesh has been fulfilled by Jesus Christ and the Old is close to disappearing.
I am suggesting that without the belief in the Trinity, one(the natural man) has *a *god that they may serve, but that person does not worship and serve *thee *God and cannot *love *thee Creator God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Those of the Spirit have the spirit of discernment here. Those who love God from the flesh and submission are seen as thirsting for God, and have not been quenched with the water that only Jesus can give. The ignorance by no fault of their own, cannot hold them in contempt of the True God, who reaches out to them through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Hope is alive here.

Do these follow the revelations of God and are able to keep the commandments of God today? No; because they do not have the Holy Spirit and these reject the third revealed person of the Trinity, who teaches and declares the revelations of God to our humanity in the Spirit and Truth. These reject that Truth who is a person Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead.

The natural man’s truth or thirst of it, cannot be reached by themselves, so the greatest thing they can do in order to “show” their love for God, is to submit their flesh to their creator whom they do not know, because they reject His love who is God and God’s love is revealed from the works of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, when Love has come to us and revealed Love from heaven from the Cross Jesus Christ bore upon himself for our sake.

The Spiritual person can discern the things of the spirit, while the flesh or natural man considers the things of God revealed by God who teaches us in time and space are folly because they do not have the Spirit of God to discern the spiritual realities described in spiritual terms, defined by the Pillar of Truth the Catholic Church these past 2000 years since the resurrection and Pentecost.

You appear to be reducing all non-Christian, non-Trinitarian religions to “submission of the flesh” without elevation of the spirit. Speaking for Judaism, please understand that submission is NOT the essence of the religion. In fact, the “flesh,” including sexuality, is accorded a high value in Judaism since mankind is created as body and soul. Thus the “Old” Covenant is not regarded merely as a covenant of the flesh or of natural man but rather a covenant between mankind and G-d.

I gave three examples which included non-catholic christians.

The “essence” of God cannot be ever attained by submission of the flesh. Only a death of the flesh enter’s the presence of God. God’s essence never comes down to creation, for to see God as he is, is certain death.

Moses only saw the veil of God’s glory. God’s presence is known in the burning bush. God’s presence is known in His voice, God’s presence is known in His Word, God’s presence is known and revealed in His Breath. In all of these God never ceases to exist, thus the Trinity of persons Voice, Word, Breath is One God no other.

God calls to love. Christians do not love because the law convicts us if we don’t, Christians love because God loved us first. And this love is never by works of the flesh in submission. We love because we have died to the flesh and resurrected in the Spirit of life who is Love Jesus Christ. Faith then superseded the submission of the flesh.

We are not discussing disciplines of the flesh, which Christians practice such as "Lent and fasting, prayer etc. We are discussing how one can love God and keep His commmandments?

The flesh we know alone can never keep the Law of God, because all have failed the law of God including Moses and Christians, that is why the ministry of God’s reconciliation, God has left with us until the Parousia.

I gave no comment to any essence of one religion, I commented on the flesh and submission from the natural man who loves his creator. My Essence comment referenced God’s True Essence which can never be reached by human standards of submission of the flesh to God. God is Spirit, how does one pretend to reach God’s essence or His presence with the flesh?

Thus the submission of the flesh is not Loving God from the heart. When one Love’s his neighbor and His enemies whom they see, then one can surely Love God whom they have not seen.

We are to love God with all our strength (flesh) and with all our heart (soul). Judaism believes in the body and soul of man. How does one submitt the flesh to love God from the soul of the flesh? Does not a death becomes required here. If a death of the flesh, then who’s death?

Peace be with you

Why do you think G-d would give us the Law if He knew we cannot fulfill it? Is it to frustrate and torment us or to ennoble and enlighten us? I think the latter. IOW, G-d realizes none of us can fulfill the Law in its entirety, but striving to do the best we can helps to sanctify us and make us strong despite this. And when we err, we can always seek forgiveness from G-d and from our neighbor. Further, Judaism does not view “death of the flesh” as a means to fulfill the Law. Quite the contrary. The way in which we are able to praise G-d and perform the good deeds He commands of us here on earth is to unite body and soul, not divorce one from the other. After all, G-d created us as flesh infused with spirit; who are we to separate them? You spoke of faith as dominant; but does not the Church also believe, based on Scripture, that faith without works is dead? One final note: following the Law is not considered to be an all-or-none proposition, but rather a step-by-step process of improvement in which we become more spiritual and grow closer to G-d in small increments. It is the fortitude and perseverance from us that G-d most appreciates.

Gabriel_of_12:
Ghandi a professed Hindu, practiced the Christian virtues of love God, love neighbor and love enemy.
“And I can fight only for something that I love, love only what I respect, and respect only what I at least know.” Another quote- “Who says I am not under the special protection of God?” These both are quotes from Adolph Hitler. I am certain we both agree that Adolph Hitler was a God-less, wholly evil man. Hitler, on the other hand, believed he was serving God by ridding the earth of Jews, blacks, gays, mentally handicapped, etc. He thought he was doing God’s work for him. Hitler made his own god to what fit his agenda. One could tell Hitler he was breaking the second part of the law (therefore breaking the first part), but he would have said he was actually following the whole law by ridding the world of impure blood to make the world a better place for the betterment of the people. He made a god to fit his own beliefs. Gandhi did not profess the death, burial and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ. He made a god that he saw fit to serve, which was not the True and Eternal God- Father Son and Holy Spirit. He said he desired to follow the ideals of Christianity, but when you say he was a “professed Hindu who practiced the Christian virtues of loving God”- which millions of Hindu gods did he love? To love the Trinitarian God of Christianity is to cease being a Hindu which tells you to adore a god for this and that. There are many Hollywood actors/actresses, who are working for the betterment of mankind, but they do not profess Christ and Savior and Lord (in fact some deny Him outright). There are certain politicians who are working to make their country a better place to please their countrymen, but they do not confess Christ as Savior and Lord. It is not hard to look “good” infront of cameras and to look pious on paper. But the Bible states Christ saying over and over one HAS TO confess and believe in Him and if you deny Who He is, you never really knew Him nor served Him- or the Father and Spirit for that matter. God has written the law on men’s hearts. Men are made in His image. Some choose to reject the laws that do not fit their idea of a god.
Ghandi is no different from the good theif who repented from his baptism by blood enter’s paradise with Jesus.
Gandhi is very different from the thief. Gandhi knew of Jesus and His commands and ultimately rejected Him. The thief cried out to Jesus for mercy. Gandhi, while on his deathbed, did not cry out to Jesus for mercy(as far as anyone knows atleast, but yes, you are correct in saying only God can judge a heart).
We don’t need to go into purgatory at this time, which purges by heavenly fire all those things that not worthy of heaven, but loving God, loving neighbor, loving enemy practiced virtues will crown these in heaven everything else will be burned off or removed, for nothing unclean enter’s heaven.
Agreed, but I am thankful to be washed in the blood of the Lamb! 👍**
