Ya know the message to sell suds was SO subtle that I almost considered it a public service announcement. I thought it was beautiful and so much in contrast to the tacky ad with the buxom woman busting out all over. I mean how SOPHMORONIC. Busch has always been known as a responsible company with respect to their product. I am very impressed by their ability to salute the troops and honor them without trivializing the message at all. Loved it!And, if it’ll sell more beer, what’s not to love?
Perhaps a better venue for a tribute would have been outside the peddling of suds.

I agree. Other than the bried A-B logo at the end of the ad it could have been a public service announcement.Ya know the message to sell suds was SO subtle that I almost considered it a public service announcement. Yes, it is based upon true experiences. See:I wonder if incidents like the one portrayed in this ad have happened and if not, if this ad will encourage people to applaud our troops.
Cheers.
God Bless you for your service!I can’t let this one go. As a military member, it brought tears to my eyes. I have been in the military for almost 18 years, and plan on staying to 30!
Ya know, when folks of my age signed up… it was a time of very little military presence and very few deployments. We would be asked, why did you join? The answer was always “to serve God and our country”. Now we are deployed a lot more and the answer is the same. We are the defenders of freedom, for ourselves and for those who can’t defend themselves. We are all proud to serve!!!
Great ad.
God Bless
