If your struggling with Mortal Sexaul Sins

Since it seems so many are struggling with these sins I thought I share my experience.

I remember how hard it was to overcome these sins. I had struggled with them as well. But you know what, the time I really committed myself and truly made a firm amendment God’s grace operated in me that even thinking about going back to that vomit repulses me.

I decided I was going to try to get as much grace as possiable. I set up a plan of spiritual discipline.

Attend Mass Every Morning which during the week typically last 30 minutes followed by one hour of Eucharistic Adoration.

Attend Confession Every week.

Read the Bible Every day.

I then prayed a good 30 minutes or so before bed.

Trust me if you go to Mass and Adoration every day you’ll stop masturbating and watching internet Porn. You just have to do it. You cant make excuses. Its like Working out . If you stop working out and sit at home every night eating pizza and chips , your going to become fat and lazy, but if you start working out and eating right your going to get muscles and defined and feel powerful. Its the same with the spiritual life, you need to invest some serious time into it , to get anything out of it. If you dont your easy prey for your own flesh.

He’s the vine your a branch connected to him. I know from experience the most powerful thing you can do is go to Mass and Adoration every day.

Fulton sheen use to say this all the time.

I followed a very similar plan and I can assure you it worked. The grace I received from frequent reception of the Eucharist as well as Reconciliation was amazing. I have not struggled with the temptations of sexual sin in months now. So, like Truthisbeauty said, just DO IT!!!

I’m glad that’s working out for you two. It’s making me irritable, sleepless, and impatient. I’ve gone from having a very even keeled temper to nearly snapping at my friends and coworkers. It’s also getting expensive, as the sleeplessness is making me clumsy and prone to breaking things. Even trying to do other things to take my mind off ot it doesn’t work so well. Ever tried to paint a model on 4 hours of sleep? It doesn’t turn out so good, let me tell you.

the only reason why i strugglw with sexual impurity is beacuse i don’t believe God has a woman out there for me, cuz i’m crippling shy and it helps me forget my lonliness. especailly at the age of 16.

if Gods did promise me a woman, i would quit the sexual sin. i know it sounds like an excuse, but it is not to me.
