Hi Church Militant,
No I would never want to ask about anyone’s good deeds. I have never known anyone to ask that question. It puzzles me why you bother to spend so much time on it.
2 Samuel 6:5 and 2 Samuel 6:14 Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod 6:15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. 6:16 Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter. looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart. 6:23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death.

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, etc
( the Greek word suggests shouting and leaping with joy.
Acts 2;13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine”

Your words explain fully that you have not yet experienced the full joy of His presence. This joy far surpasses that which you engender in the Eucharist.
Yours will be a different story once that event occurs and you start listening to Him and obeying.Try it " Ask for Him."
walk in love

Edwin…You haven’t a vague clue what you are talking about. You have no idea what joy any of us have and you certainly have no idea about the beauty of the Eucharist since you do not believe in it and do not share in it.

You indict us because we are not like you yet I would not trade the beauty of my prayer life for the remotest hint of what you have.

I WAS like you for over 34 years and it was the biggest waste of time in my entire life. I rejoice in the freedom of my Catholicism and I resent your witnessing to me about something that I have that supercedes anything that you can offer.

I only wish I could show you just how terribly misguided and wrong you are about us…but I suspect that you wouldn’t believe St Michael the archangel himself if he appeared and told you you should become a Catholic and that your very eternal soul depended upon it. :irish1:

Edwin, since as Church Millitant stated, and i blatantly support, you have no clue what your talking about… the Eucharist is one of the single GREATEST Gifts God gave us, next to the origional sacrafice at cavalry. the Eucharist is a re-presentation of that sacrifice, completely real, but without the blood or killing. the reason we present this amazing sacrafice(which with the amount of churches in the world, is being offered litteraly from sun up to sun down) is because we, as sinners, you , i, and the rest of the peoples of the world, are incapable of recieving the Saving Grace of God in its fullness through the one sacrafice. so, by presenting this offering over and over, we can slowly grow and be filled with the Graces He has given us. and Jesus said, in John, eat my flesh, drink my blood; and in matthew, do this in memory of me; he never once said symbolic, or something like, or representation of… he meant the real deal, that is why we have the single greatest form of worship in the Eucharist. God Bless your learning and understanding of this. since you seem to be so keen on sharing stories of the spirit, i just came from a Live-in Retreat, and it was an amazing, spirit filled, example of communion, and yes, it was Catholic based. filled with Catholic spirit filled people… and to top it all off, we received the sacraments of reconcilliation, and Eucharist, and i cannot think of any two ways to come closer to God than those. God Bless you, and There Are more Catholics praying for your conversion to the Truth than you or I know

Is CzechPrince a member here? If not maybe some one should invite him here.
Well, I told him about this place. He thought it was cool. Whether or not he joins is up to him. If he wants to…I cannot get over the anti-Catholic sentiments over there!!! My favourite is in another thread when DoctorDoom c&p’d the Catholic posion about baptism (probably from this very site…not the forum part, though) & tore it to shreds!! AND, before I could reply (not that I was orignally going to), they locked the thread. 😦 😦 😦 😦 :crying:

BUT, to be fair, if you notice, they deleted the original thread, WHICH got pretty heated between Catholics & Protestants. I think there’s a new rule, too, saying that one cannot single out a specific person or peoples.
