If You've Had Spiritual Growth, What Do You Attribute It To Most?

What made the biggest difference a few years ago was regular adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. I went every Saturday and I believe that caused a huge jump.
 
i can’t read the Bible when I’m working, I can’t do Adoration while driving. I can’t even make it to mass every day, but I can say the Holy Rosary just about anywhere.
 
Praying, going to Mass every Sunday, and also the great sermons that are given. There is one priest who gives particularly great sermons and I have learned a lot from those sermons. He also loves God very much, as is evident when he is the one celebrating Mass.
 
A good confession, having a spiritual director or regular confessor, time with the blessed sacrament, and practicing the presence of God in daily life.
 
In the last year at least, adoration and the 15 St. Bridget prayers, and oddly enough, The Screwtape Letters.
 
In no particular order: Mass every day, Adoration, LOTH, confession every two weeks without fail, and spiritual direction.

I cannot narrow it down to only one thing, nor has any one of the above been more of a factor than the others. Take away just one of these permanently, and my spiritual growth slows down considerably. Remove more than one, and I risk having all progress stop dead in its tracks. :sad_yes:
 
All the various devotions /practices we employ are good. Each is a help for spiritual growth, avoiding sin, keeping our baptismal vows, and journeying towards union with God, our ultimate goal. It’s consistency that is the key, I think. Daily prayer, Scripture reading, living out our Lord’s command to be holy and do good. If we cooperate with God’s grace by availing ourselves of these things we can’t help but mature in the faith and as human beings, can we. 🙂
 
Spiritual growth comes from the transforming grace God has given to me.

In Centering Prayer, I’m in His presence loving Him and being, open His will, which is given through love.
