The confusion is from the history of the Restoration movement. Among the leaders was Barton Stone, he was an Arian in christology and as such denied the deity of Christ. The Restoration Movement along with other movements like the Adventist movement were heavily influnce by a sect called the Christian Connextion Movement which were basically a group of boston unitarians who came out of the congregationists. So, don’t be suprised that there is a wide range of beliefs among the off shouts of the so-called Restoration movement. BTW, the modern Bible Alone viewpoint was inherited from this same Christian Connection movement too.

So, today you can have too groups calling themselves “church of christ” one Trinitarian and the other denying the deity of Christ.

I believe the Church of Christ in the USA is the Campbellites which was divided into two groups, with and without instrument.

So, ETE do you believe in the Trinity? do you believe Jesus is God?

We do not believe in the Trinitiy, and we do not believe Jesus is God either…and we are not those restoration movement that you mentioned.

What is your interpretation of John 1:1, 8:58, 10:30?

John 1:1 is like a story telling of Jesus origin, where he came from what is he in the beginning.

John 8:58 is a dialogue regarding Jesus existence again when Jesus said I am was before Abraham, which is in conformity of John 1:1(a), the beginning of Jesus.

John 10:30, “I and the Father are ONE” is a conclusion of a premise, it did not say, I and the Father are ONE GOD. But everyone wish it was worded in such manner.

Can you show any early church documents outside the Bible which teaches your theology?

Our doctrines are purely biblical, meaning if it is not written then we are silent…

How do you believe one is saved?

One is saved if he will believed in the gospel and be baptized. Mark 16:15-16

• And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.*

What is your understanding of the atonement?

Atonement is done through the ONE NEW MAN that composed of two, the processed: Man must enter the body to be atoned with the blood of Christ.

How do you know your interpretation is authoritive and truly represents what the early church taught?

Jesus said…he has other sheep that do not belong to the first century Church [fold]…we claim that prophecy and supported by more prophesies in the scriptures.

John 10:16 "I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

The Iglesia ni Cristo was founded by Christ based on John 10:16 and the instrument to re-establish the first century Church that became apostatised was bro. Felix Y. Manalo.
