Ignatius/Scott Hahn Genesis booklet?

[vladimir998]

Does anyone know where a copy of the new Ignatius Study Bible Genesis booklet can be purchased? Ignatius says the booklet was released in October…but they’ve been out of stock since the very beginning of October according to their website. Amazon.com says they’re out of stock as well…throughout October.

1. Has the booklet actually been released or not?
2. Which online vendor actually has copies to sell? Anyone know?

When you say “Ignatius says the booklet was released in October” do you mean you spoke with someone there who said that, or do you mean that is listed as the publication date?

Delayed publication is very common. Something being out of stock at the publisher within a couple of weeks of publication is very uncommon (I know of one example, a book that won a Caldecott, but that is very uncommon). So - I suspect that Genesis just hasn’t come out yet, and the “available” date is a missed target.

ive been waiting for this too.

i preordered on amazon and it says out of stock, before the release date of october 30 you could pre order.

on ignatius it also says out of stock, if it hadnt been released it would say "not released yet / or have a date of release.

everywhere says out of stock.

on walmart it does still have the preorder status though, with a release date of october 2010 and a ship date of 11/28. so maybe its not coming out till the end of november?
