Ignatius Spiritual Exercises, Anyone take them?

I have questions on the St. Ignatius Exercises and was wondering if anyone has been to the retreats or has found a way to adapt them to home use?

Is there a modern revision approved by the Holy See? Where can I obtain it?

The Spiritual Exercises should be done under the guidance of a priest or spiritual director who is well versed in them. This is probably the best way to do it. It would take a while to do them and get the most out of it.
