Can anyone tell me if the Ignatius Study Bible Old Testament is available at present? I couldn’t find it in the Catholic bookstore I went to, nor on the internet; only the New Testament.

I know Genesis is available. I have the NT and enjoy it very much.

The ICSB are wonderful resources and truly embody the vision of Scripture study set out by Dei Verbum. My only concern is that it took 10 years for only the NT to be published, and the Genesis volume came out early this year. With the Exodus volume set to be released in early 2012, how long are we to wait for a complete ICSB incorporating both the OT and NT? Another 10 years? Not sure I am willing to wait that long.

If you are interested in another good Catholic commentary on the OT, look up the Navarre Bible, it comes in 7 volumes for the OT. Rather expensive but worth it if you are really interested. They can be purchased individually and I currently have the first two volumes which I’m working my way through.

Thanks for posting this! I am taking the C S S Program - Genesis this year and will be happy to get the Ignatius Study adjunct for it!
