Woohoo! I need to keep rehearsing my lines and practicing getting down on one knee. I’ll also have tissues ready, because she said she might cry. I’m so excited!!

I’m happy for both of you. And with all due respect, did you ask each other what you expect to happen after you get married? Where you’ll live, reliable transportation, sufficient income?

Sorry. Couldn’t help it. I’ve known several people whose expectations could not be met after they started talking about marriage or were not met after they got married because they didn’t discuss it with their spouse to-be.
