Illegal drugs

I don’t. But point taken. I am sure the Church has some sort of explanation for differentiating between drugs and alcohol, though I don’t know what it is. I’ll be the first to admit that any discussion about the Church’s opinion on this matter is speculation from me.

As far as I’m aware, there is no differentiation between the substances themselves – which is as it should be. Alcohol is a drug. So are nicotine and caffeine. This is actually why Mormons and some other groups forbid their members to partake in such vices as liquor, cigarettes, and Coca-Cola.
