I think your missing the point Kuz When I shared Mathew 27.51At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook rocks split apart. This was Simply Jesus saying we No longer have to Go through through OLD TRADITIONS for God to interceed like In the days of the Tabernacle,Old Testement Beacuse Jesus is our High Priest. I will Give you another Example. Within The Ark of the covenant was the Ten Commandments Right and when Jesus said in Mathew 5.17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. Do you see How this Forshadows Jesus Everything Points To Jesus what couldn’t Be fulfilled Then with the Law Has Now Been made complete In Jesus. Even with the Scarifices For there Sins that where Made to God For the Priest and then for the People. JESUS He himself is the sacrifices that atones for our sins and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.1 John 2.2 I think you get the picture. Palsm 115 4.8 Their idols are merely things of silver and gold, shaped by human hands. They have mouths but cannot speak, and eyes but cannot see. They have ears but cannot hear, and noses but cannot smell. They have hands but cannot feel, and feet but cannot walk, and throats but cannot make a sound. And those who make idols are just like them, as are all who trust in them. Kuz can you please Explain how Mary is Queen Of Heaven From Scipture? The bible teaches us how to pray in Mathew 6.5 Dosent mention Mary or Saints. kuz i agree we have to base our foundations on truth that’s why Jesus Says I am The Truth the Life no one comes unto the father except through Me. not his saints/His mother But him. #ThankyouJesus Truth is not only a Word but a Person thank you Jesus Kuz i agree not everything in the bible should be taken literally but when it talks about Statues and Idols God Dosent mean those verses literally? I hope you get what I’m trying to say. next time we see each other I think we can go deeper and explain properly or even a catch up to bring our cases because sometimes things can be lost and confused over mssg. I love this Because we can share our view in a respectable way and know at the end of the day we are family whether we like it or not:joy:😂

First, the Bible does mention intercession of angels in Psalm 103:20-21 and Psalm 148. Second, intercession of saints in Rev 5:8 and Rev 8:3-4. Mary is first among saints. Third, Christians praying for each other in 1 Tim 2:1-4 and James 5:16. Lastly, it has been the practice among the Christian faithful for 1500+ years. Only when Protestantism came along, this practice was questioned. So who has history on their side?

You should ask your cousin why they do whatever they do when they get together on Sunday (which is in itself a Catholic Tradition).

If all we’re going to do is what the Bible says (or what he says the Bible says), then they would get together, say the Our Father, & go home.

There was a time when 99% of the people in the world did not know how to read. The rosary was a way to teach the Gospels & it is still an effective way to meditate on the Gospels.

& if your cousins truly understood what (s)he is reading (s)he would understand Jesus did not leave us a Bible. Did not leave us instructions to write a Bible.

He left us an example. A group of 12 men who imitated Him. They learned to live like Him by living with Him. From the baptism in the Jordan to the Ascension. They taught other men to live like Him by living with them. & so on & so forth through the ages.

Jesus left us a building of living stone that continues to this day. The Church made up of all His Saints (including you).

If Jesus’ sacrifice atoned for all the sins of the world, then everyone should go to heaven, right? And yet, even Jesus Himself said that this is not so.

Read the stories of the Davidic kings in the Old Testament. The Queen isn’t the wife of the king, she’s the mother of the king. Jesus is a Davidic king, right? So Mary is queen. Jesus is the King of Heaven, right? So that makes Mary the Queen of Heaven.

Yet, there are other places in the Bible in which we’re instructed to pray for one another, and yet other places where we see people asking others to pray for them.
Jesus Says I am The Truth the Life no one comes unto the father except through Me. not his saints/His mother But him.
Who says that asking others to pray for you implies that you now “come to the Father” through them? That’s just silly.

Didn’t God instruct Moses to put images of angels and such on the ark of the covenant? Didn’t He tell Moses to make an image of a snake and put it on a pole, so that the people could look upon it and be healed? Doesn’t God do these things from his own divine authority? And, doesn’t Jesus give divine authority to Peter (and through him, to the Church) in Matthew 16? So, if the Church says it’s ok – having been given authority through Christ – then why is it wrong?
