Founder of Christianity - God, a personal Creator who seeks communion with his beloved creatures whom he has elevated by His own grace to the status of Sons and Daughters.

Now, Jediism - Medichlorions, a symbiant lifeform, yet to be discovered by modern medicine, has an intelligence and a will that creates magical powers which defy the natural order and elevate its followers to superhumans.

It sounds like unitarianism and wicca packaged in a 1970’s movie wrapper.

George Lucas, a Jew, would most likely be embarrased to find out that these groups have popped up. Much the same as JRR Tolkein was upset at those who could not separate his fiction from reality.

Yeah, you know, it’s such a shame Christianity is unsupported, especially with all the documented history we have. Jediism on the other hand, ya just got 6 movies (which I love) and a bunch of knock off books.

Uhhh, the point is you have made no point.

Someone is dealing in New Age religions with the whole “Jedi” thing. You take eastern style religions/thinking (such as “ki” that you just rename as the “force”) and give it a wizzy-bang name “Jediism” and think that you have come up with something new. The Catholic church has been seeing this stuff for 2000 years, why would you expect us to treat it any differently than all the other new age religions. You bring nothing new to the table. “Ki”/“Force” might be a way of looking/dealing with the spiritual side of our bodies, but calling it a religion? Where did the “force” come from? Nothing truly comes from nothing. The big bang (or whatever the resonance that we can detect) came from something (God starting creation perhaps). The “force”, “ki”, and the spiritual side of the phyically perceptable came due to a prime mover, GOD! There is no free ride, there is no getting something from nothing in the sense of the universe. Jediism is generally lacking as a religion. So, if you want to discuss why you think jediism is a religion, go for it, but don’t waste time with silly little comments that generally make you look juvenile…
