I'm a nervous wreck!

Ok, so I got a few prayer request today. Busy couple of weeks coming up.
  1. I just sent my little girl off for her first summer camp 250 miles away. She on the bus now, please pray for her safe travels.
  2. A soon as she gets back she has to have her tonsils taken out. Please pray for a successful operation and recovery.
  3. I’m in the hospital awaiting an MRA. There’s something going on with my blood vessels in my neck. I pray its nothing serious.
  4. Tomorrow I go in for a mammogram. My doctor thinks she felt something. I don’t, but it still makes me a nervous wreck.
Pray for a mothers peace of mind through this stressful couple weeks ahead of me.

I do feel for you- I am in a similar situation so I know how you are feeling. I will pray for you.

Praying for your daughter’s safety at camp and her upcoming medical procedure. Praying for your medical tests as well, and that Jesus relieves your anxiety about all of this.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.

Thank you all. It means so much to know others are praying for me and my daughter.

The MRI/MRA went well. It was my first time ever doing something like that. It was actually pretty scary and weird. Anyone who’s had one before will know what I mean. I feel like I know now what an alien abduction would be like. Anyway, I prayed the entire time, about three full Rosaries and many Our Fathers and doing that successfully kept me calm the whole time. I’m not sure how long before I learn the results though. So please, continue to keep me and my daughter in your prayers. And thanks again, it really means a lot. I will update soon!

Well, today was a pretty tough. Something was found in my mammogram, but the doctor is fairly confident it’s a benign cyst. I have to wait six months to follow up and see if any changes occured to know for sure. I am just focusing on resigning myself to His will and turning to prayer any time fearful thoughts enter my heart. Each time I am hit with a bout of anxiety, I immediately begin praying and am immediately calmed. The prayers offered here are also very comforting. I’m so thankful.

I am missing my little girl tonight something awful. There were some strong storms that rolled through tonight and I know she was probably pretty scared. But, I’m sure she’s fine and probably having a great time.

Thanks again for the continued prayers…
