finish the sentence.
Whoa! That’s what I call a God-thing!At the age of 14 I was introduced to Catholicism by a family I met on a family vacation at Myrtle Beach, SC. Thanks be to G*D for them!
Up until that point I had no real church involvment since neither of my parents attended any church. Father did not believe, Mother was the daughter of a baptist preacher and had disowned her faith many years earlier.
I attended one mass with that family at the beach, and returned home and immeidiately began the process of being initiated into the Catholic Church. I owe that family from Ohio, who i have never met again, a debt that i will probably never be able to repay.

Awesome story.I was baptised as a Catholic at birth. Raised in a Christian household, schooled in Catholic schools, fell away in my teen years because no-one was gonna tell ME what to do…went off the rails seeking my own redemption…and found my way back on night shift at my hospital through talking with a medical man who is a committed and traditional Catholic.
Deo gratias.
