I'm afraid. We need your prayers

Dear brothers and sisters… please pray for us tomorrow (Friday - July 31).

We’ve been having ongoing, continuous problems with our car… and tomorrow, I have to make an 8 mile drive, through a rural area… with a bad muffler and cracked resonator; to a special garage, where (hopefully :gopray2: ) it can be fixed.

I also must leave my sweet mother (who is severely disabled), in the care of another person… because the trip will be too hard on her. Although the lady sitting with her is a friend (from our parish) I’m still worried about my mother.

I’ve been so afraid about the possible loss of our car, because we can not afford to buy a new one :nope: (not even a USED “new one”); and if we lose the one we have, we’re in deep trouble (no family to help us).

Please pray for the safety of both my mother and myself, and a final… positive resolution to the continuous car problems we’ve had. 😦

Lord, protect Marie Veronica and her mother tomorrow in a special way. Surround them by your angels and keep them safe from all harm. Also help Marie Veronica be able to afford a new car ASAP. She needs to get around in a car that is safe to drive and can not go without transportation. Please help Marie Veronica, Lord.

I sort of know what your going through. I’ve been having car problems as well.

Lord God, as we Your people have expanded the territory in which we live, it now has become almost a necessity to have reliable transportation. This person lives in a rural area, so public transportation is even less of an option. Lord, please make a way for them, if it be Your Holy Will, and provide them with adequate and reliable means of getting around. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen.

Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the merciful Father,the God from whom all help comes!
He helps us in al our troubles,so that we are able to
help those who have all kinds of troubles,using the same help
that we ourselves have received from God (2 Cor 1:3-4)

Praying for material things does not work. God creates balance, and thus life is perfect, no matter what is happening. Accept life in its totality; do not pick and choose. That just causes suffering. Pray for truth and life; nothing else works. That is the truth.
