I have pains which medicines, herbs, nor rest seem to be curing. While not life-threatening, I grow frustrated and impatient with my discomfort. I am trying to find my way back to Christ after a 9 month absence, but this is proving hard when I am beset by despair and doubt.

I ask for no advice. Just your prayers that my pains subside and my faith and hope in Christ returns.

Praying that the Lord ease your pain and bring you closer to Him.

Prayers and Intercessions

We rejoice in the Lord, from whom all good things come, and as we rejoice we sincerely pray:
  • Lord, hear our prayer.
Father and Lord of all, you sent your Son into the world so that everyone everywhere would give you glory:
make your Church an ever stronger witness among the nations.
Make us followers of the teaching of the Apostles
and firm believers in the truth.
You love justice:
give judgement in favour of those who suffer wrongs.
Break the fetters of captives, enlighten the eyes of the blind,
lift up those who are cast down, be the protection of strangers.
Fulfil the hopes of those who already sleep in peace:
through your Son, bring them to the final resurrection.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

O Lord, be merciful to your servants and give them yet more of the gifts of your grace.
On fire with faith, hope and love,
may they keep your commandments with unceasing watchfulness.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.

Jesus please help this person to find peace and healing, and to grow in relationship with You. Grant hope and faith, and give well-being to this beloved child of God.
 
God, please give comfort to this child of yours. Not only physically but spiritually as well, as it is clear that your child needs both. May your love be overwhelming and that you will give the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Many prayers for you. I pray that the Lord leads you back to His gentle and loving Church, and heals you within it. All things are possible with God!
