After so many years of having fallen away from the faith, I’m coming back. I’m going to confession this Saturday.
It feels good to be home.

Yes, and welcome home! I left the Catholic Church in the 80’s…and I came back last month. I had decades of stuff to confess. Don’t go to the Sat. night confession line…you’ll have to make an appointment. My pastor had me recite a confession of faith, and listened to my confession (with notes!). Once in a while I asked him if he was interested in the details of my sins…he would say “no” and he kept on waving his hand to get me going again. He really made it easy…I pray that yours will also be easy (I know it will!). I didn’t even remember the “act of contrition”…I guess I could have found it on the internet and memorized it…but I forgot we had to say that! Anyway, he guided me through it.After so many years of having fallen away from the faith, I’m coming back. I’m going to confession this Saturday.

P.S. That is the best news I’ve heard all day. I don’t even know you and you made my day.
Welcome home bro. When I took this step last year, it was the best thing I’ve ever done. God bless you.:extrahappy:After so many years of having fallen away from the faith, I’m coming back. I’m going to confession this Saturday.
