It’s 3 days post-op and I’m home (yes HOME!!!) and doing well so far. They were miraculously able to shave the external wall of the colon and didn’t have to resection it. They removed all the new Endometriosis and took the uterus and ovaries. It was miraculously all able to be done laparoscopically. It was a miracle! No menopause symptoms yet. Doctor said they may take a few weeks to start. Of course I still have pain but on pain pills I still feel better than when I went in. It’s a miraculous surgery. Thanks for all of your support and prayers. Obviously they have worked tremendously. I feel a whole new act of my life will be starting in 6 weeks when all restrictions will (hopefully) be lifted. Please pray I continue to heal so well and that menopause symptoms stay far away!

Oh, I’m so glad for you! What wonderful news!!! May your recovery continue to be smooth; I can’t wait to hear how well you’re doing in a few weeks. 🙂

So glad to hear everything went well (even better than expected!!)

Have a wonderful Christmas full of rest! 😃

Thanks be to God! :extrahappy: Be sure and rest and eat well. And don’t try to do too much too soon. When I had my hyst 8 years ago, I hit a fatigue wall about 3 weeks out and got so frustrated. :crying: It took one of my BFF girlfriends saying “You’ve just had MAJOR SURGERY” to make me realize I had been being too hard on myself. :o I also got a lot of good out of the Hyster Sisters web forum. So kick back, be thankful the worst is behind you, and keep getting better and better! :tanning:

I’m so glad to hear that you’re doing so well!

I pray that everything continues to go smoothly for you, too. Please take it easy. 🙂

God bless you!

Remember to rest. Oh, and it is very important to . . . . . . rest. 😉

Follow your doctor’s orders. My doctor was very strict. But at 6 weeks, everything was lifted.

PM me if you want to “talk.”

This is great news. I’m so glad you’ve had success with this. Wishing and praying for all the best with your recovery.

It is so good to hear that your long struggle with these medical issues may have a happy ending.

Mary.

Wonderful news! Be sure not to do too much too soon! It can be tempting…LOL

Continued prayers for full recovery and a joyful Christmas.
May the Christ Child touch you with His holy, healing hands. 😉

You have been in my thoughts. So happy that things are finally starting to go well for you!!!

Good news! Continued prayers for health & recovery. Rest up & get well soon. God bless.

I’m so glad to hear that everything went well. I hope that your recovery continues to go well.
