I’m so happy everything went so well for you! I had laparascopic surgery once (gallbladder) and I am AMAZED at how much easier the recovery tends to be. (I’ve never had full-on open abdominal surgery but have cared for patients who have, as well as witnessing my father have an appendectomy.) I will pray that things go well for you. It’s 3 days post-op and I’m home (yes HOME!!!) and doing well so far. They were miraculously able to shave the external wall of the colon and didn’t have to resection it. They removed all the new Endometriosis and took the uterus and ovaries. It was miraculously all able to be done laparoscopically. It was a miracle! No menopause symptoms yet. Doctor said they may take a few weeks to start. Of course I still have pain but on pain pills I still feel better than when I went in. It’s a miraculous surgery. Thanks for all of your support and prayers. Obviously they have worked tremendously. I feel a whole new act of my life will be starting in 6 weeks when all restrictions will (hopefully) be lifted. Please pray I continue to heal so well and that menopause symptoms stay far away!
Praying in thanksgiving . . . for He is worthy! Thanks again everyone! :grouphug:
I’m continuing to do well. I haven’t had anymore regression in my healing. I’m kind of at a standstill but getting stronger.
I am starting to have some minor menopausal symptoms (mainly hot flashes) but they are far better than what I went through before surgery. Hope no other symptoms develop. So far, save incision pain, I’m still feeling really good. My mental state is still well, which we were most worried about. All in all I’m still very thankful to have had his surgery!![]()

So glad for you!!Aww!Thank you to all who are still praying for me! :hug3:
I am still doing well. Very tired still, but almost pain free and still think this was the best choice. I am taking some hormones now to help with the menopause symptoms. I’m struggling with the permanent infertility idea, so if you could please pray for that.
Thanks again for all your support and prayers! :grouphug:
