I'm getting married tomorrow!

I was a long time poster here, but have not posted in quite some time though my brother remains very active here. I have missed it here.

Anyway, it is the night before my wedding and I am quite jittery. Don’t get me wrong, no cold feet at all… it’s just that the magnitude of it all is hitting me right now and for some reason I feel better posting this here than talking to anyone in particular right now.

I’m very much looking forward to marriage and I love my future wife so much… little nervous about not sleeping alone any more, living with someone other than my parents, etc. Excited, but nervous about that.

More than anything though, just so excited to celebrate this sacrament in my (our) home parish and in the Church.

I don’t know if I will be able to sleep tonight…:coffeeread:

But I just wanted to share my joy with you all and I needed someone to talk to. Thanks for listening.

Congratulations!! May God bless you and may you mirror His sacrificial love in your marriage. Both of you will be in my prayers tomorrow!

Congratulations! Was in your situation 5 years ago, slept like a baby the night before my wedding 👍. You’ll need it before a whirlwind of activity! God bless.

Thank you all so much for your well wishes and everything, it just helps to feel like I’m chatting with someone right now… calm those nerves down. Going to try to get some sleep now!

Congratulations!~ It’s normal to feel jittery; my best friend called me several times the night before her wedding and she is now getting ready to celebrate Anniversary 25!

August 17 is my parents wedding anniversary. They would have been married 60 years this year, but my Dad passed away in May. Carry on! ❤️
