Seems like it should have a more similar meaning to refrain, doesn’t it? Oh well, y’all can join me in my complaining thread.
 
I only complain whilst disgruntled. At the moment, I’m reasonably well gruntled. Maybe tomorrow, I’ll lose some of my gruntleness.
