Drove to New Jersey today to check on our beach house. Happened to notice liquor stores in NJ are considered “essential” and were open. SCORE!!!
For those who don’t know, Pennsylvania liquor stores are closed.

Gosh, that’s so ridiculous. Here in New Zealand everything is closed except the supermarket and some other things like butcher’s shops. We are also not allowed to drive anywhere except the supermarket.

What is the ban on driving about? Sometimes you just need to get out and see something besides the inside of your house. If I am in my car, going for a Sunday drive, how am I bothering anyone?

I should probably point out that while they are open, you actually have to call ahead of time and you can’t really go in the store. I guess if they are taking it to your car, that might be true oh my goodness I hope not.
