Thank you for your prayers. It’s sad that they see nothing wrong with their actions but, what can you do.

Is it possible to move in with your parents for a bit while you regroup?

It sounds like a tough situation. I am guessing they/you are not in a place where they are too concerned about labour laws or that you dont want to rock the boat about them at least.
I think you know that you need to leave because you are looking for something else and you know your situation is unfair and you aren’t being treated in a way that God made us to be treated, in accordance with our dignity as humans, specifically his children. In other words you are being taken advantage of because you are a nice guy and/or the people you work for are being greedy.

So while you wait for a new job (which is hard to find with working so many hours and being so worn out/stressed ) you can either leave and put the finding of a new job purely in the hands of God whilst unemployed or put up with this position as it is or tell your employers that you will work so many days then you will have a day off etc. giving your conditions and see what they say. If you do the last, they may fire you and you’ll be in square one anyway. I’d suggest you pray on it and ask God his will for you. Put your trust in God. God bless you.

When my employer was an atheist Jew, Easter time.got more importance than it does.now.under an EO yet agnostic employer. My former employer asked us “do you celebrate Easter? Because my menorah is in the closet” (yes it was !.😁 like he literally had a menorah in his office closet). When we were.saying “Christ is risen!” He was saying “so I’ve heard”. But he was really nice and funny about it.
I’ve gotten more mercantile vibes than ever from baptized EO colleagues and clients. This may be offtopic for you but it just brings back memories of my small working experience.
This is what I found hurts - mean Christian employers. It’s like the strangers.have more.comfort even if we don’t co-celebrate. This is bitter.for.me in my life.
I still miss my former employer. Tomorrow is his birthday. Just ramblings passing through my heart and mind.
May God bless him and his family abundantly!
