I had surgery on my left hand on Oct. 11th, which means I must hunt and peck with my right hand. That is so slow that I plan to desert my usual grammar and spelling for the next few days, until I can use my right hand a little. Thank you all for your patience!

praying.

i’ve gone thru something similar recently. father told me - Jesus felt your pain on the cross. not just general pain or from what was done to him. our pain - each twinge you have, every ache i have. so we really do share it with him. so we can offer it to him, knowing that. give it to him to share in his work on the cross.

learning that helps me understand ‘offering it up’, and having a ‘cross to bear.’ hope it helps you, trishie.

also, think of those you will help, by being part of this experiment. thanks 4 your bravery.

4 some reason, psalm 42 helps me, too.

much love,

‘Then the LORD said, “I have seen the affliction of my people. . . have heard their cry. . . I know their sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them.”’ ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ (Exodus 3:7-8; 2 Cor. 12:9) Lord Jesus, have mercy. You know my friend’s suffering and you are present. So come and heal. As someone with diabetes and epilepsy, you have shown me that when things seem the most scary, you are present. You are the power of the powerless and the hope of the hopeless:), oh Lord of love. Grant this person grace and real healing. Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Jesus You know from your own experience the toll that mental anguish and physical pain takes upon a human person.
Please give strength, comfort, and healing to Debra.
