In a routine he said that’s what a friend of his wife told him childbirth was like many years ago.
Maybe it’s just me----but I just feel that that is a tad harsh.

Don’t worry, I did–after I helped him with the help of the wonderful responses on this thread. He then asked why God doesn’t recycle souls, and I said I don’t know why God works as He does, but my guess is that He is too kind to make us suffer through more than one life.

A thought on this…The question you might ask him is, “To what end?”

Consider - IF God recycled souls (reincarnation)…

A soul comes into existence and lives a basically good life.
The soul is reincarnated (no memory of the past life) and lives a very bad life…
Reincarnated again (no memory) and lives a most holy life…
Once more and becomes a serial killer…

On which life should they be judged?

Just a thought…

jflare29 - I could suggest discerning whether he’s got a psychiatric, psychological, or medical problem, seeking professional help as needed to address it. I’m assuming this Gender Identity Disorder fits one of those categories.

Bad advice, as it takes medical knowledge to properly ‘discern’ medical conditions.

You cannot learn these things by reading on the internet.

Humans have only One Life, and judged on That one. . ‘reincarnation’ is illogical and proven never having existed. (not in this universe, anyway…) There’s been rumors about that 3rd universe at 265 Degrees from us…:whacky:… at that bar nearby at 2 AM Saturday…(but don’t put Earth money on it yet.
