I'm just lost.

I really don’t know who I am now.

I can see that the sinful choices I make in the mortal nature have thrown me into confusion but I don’t know where to go from here.

It seems like no matter how hard I try I just keep falling into my addictions. I feel unbalanced and anxious. I need prayers for clarity and stability, but most of all to end my dependence on sin.

That’s a good start…Praying for you, we all face sin and temptation…Really use this next Holy Week to concentrate on our Lord, what he went through. Ask our Lord to help you to overcome these sins. We can’t do it alone…Take Care…

Just keep praying and trying. Get back up and start all over again. You will get stronger with Gods help.

Dear Lord, help this person find the clarity and stability he wants in his life. Let him meet a good priest to receive some assistance from. Thank you for gracing him to want to break out of his addiction. Please finish the work you have already begun in him and help him learn how to substitute bad decisions with good ones. Bless him with the motivation to spend time alone with you in the Blessed Sacrament for strength, comfort and healing. Please don’t let him be afraid to approach a good priest about his problem. Let him know that exposing his wound to the doctor for treatment is the first step in the healing process.
I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

(I will include your intention in my daily rosary and in my petitions in front of Jesus in the tabernacle every day. Peace!)

I’ll add you to my Rosary intention, scapular…I’m sorry you’re feeling downtrodden over things. But, don’t give up the good fight.

Praying that you will conquer the sin that is binding you. I read something the other day, it was a recent Gospel reading, where Jesus spoke to His followers about ‘being a slave to sin.’ It really was a sobering thought, that when we are in sin, we are allowing the sin to enslave us…we start serving the sin, somewhat. It really stuck out to me, and maybe think of Jesus saying that to you, the next time you find yourself falling. “Don’t become a slave to sin.” God bless, and know that you’re being bathed in prayer.

Dear Lord, this good soul has fallen into bad habits and we both know that bad habits are hard to break, but can be broken. By substituting each vice with practicing its opposing virtues and by militantly saying no to sin and occasions of sin, and having recourse to Confession when necessary, this individual can surely break out of his bad habits and form good habits or virtues instead. By daily prayer, spiritual reading and the Eucharist and Confession I am certain this good soul can return to a peaceful life in service of you with joy abounding in his soul. Grant him the graces he needs to make this possible and not to be led into temptation. I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Please help scapularkid8 to discern the things in life that trigger the unhealthy and unholy behaviors, and fill scapularkid8 with good influences and good companions to fill the spaces in his/her life that will prevent and mitigate the undesirable behavior patterns. Lord, we need your intervention to help scapularkid8 form new habits and new behaviors that are healthy and holy and that will overshadow the issues in life that worry him/her. Please bless and have mercy on your child scapularkid8 and send people into scapularkid8’s life that will help change the cycle and the patterns of behavior to new ways. If medical or counseling is needed, please send competent, compassionate, and spiritual advisers to help this beloved child of God. Lord God, help this child of yours with the temptations they need to overcome. In the weakness be the Strength to overcome. In your precious Name, amen.

Continued prayers for you…

Couple things, I am sure you’re already doing this, but make sure you stay very close to the Sacraments. Reconcilation and the Eucharist. When at Mass, take your sin and weaknesses and give them over to God. Your faith and desire to get rid of sin is so strong, hang in there…
