I'm leaving for Iraq

Praying for you and all of the troops. My nephew is over there and is due to come home next month. My son spent 10 months fighting in Afghanistan and is now thankfully home after spending 22 years in the military.

I will pray for you and your family (and all the other military families). It is hard on families - especially the young children who don’t understand what is going on. My son leaves again in February - his group put together and paid for their internet but even with that he could not send or reply to emails but just knowing that he was able to receive them was enough to keep sending. Stay safe and if you can convey it please let the Iraqis know that we hope things work out for their country and that they will soon know peace. If you can stay in touch with CAF so we know how you are doing.
