I’m looking for an RSV-CE or RSV-2CE that has a genuine leather cover, strong sew binding, and good Bible paper with minimal ghosting. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I’ve thought about getting this one. Do you have any experience reading one?

I highly recommend The Great Adventure Bible. They don’t publish it anymore, but you can still find new ones on Amazon.

That one could be very useful to me since I am in the process of converting away from protestantism

That one seems like it can give a lot of historical information that would be great in understanding the text of Old Testament books. I think I saw some complaints on Amazon about the binding though

Yes, I own this one, but in paperback. It doesn’t really have any notes except for a few little textual things here and there. It’s basically just the text of the RSV-2CE.

I may get a paperback version of this one for Scott Hahn’s notes and essays

I highly recommend The Great Adventure Bible.
I second this one. Gave one recently to my grand daughter and her mother who is Baptist and was a leader at her bible group told me she was impressed with this one. As am I.

Mine is good leather and a strong binding, but perhaps the quality varies.

I also like that there is room for notes in the margin. Many Bible’s have very small margins.

Maybe the binding on theirs was defective or maybe they received cheap counterfeits. I will consider buying a copy

I don’t know for sure, but I could only find them via 3rd party sellers on Amazon, which indicates something might be discontinued
