Hello, I’m new at this so I’ll just tell you a bit about myself. I’m a proud teenage Catholic. Though my father is Jewish. I will be getting confirmed next year, this July I’m going to a Catholic Retreat which I hope will encourage me to enhance my faith and desire to go to Mass every Sunday. Feel free to message me 🙂

There are a few odd balls here but rest assured there are many of us who are perfectly sane lol. I’d recommend you check out,some of the realy interesting topics in apologetics!

Welcome Cari, I see from your profile that you like photography… my daughter is going to SCAD and although she was accepted for something else she is now considering photography. I am so impressed with teenagers who take the faith on for their own. You do need to develop a bit of a thick skin here but it is a great place to really test what you know. I have to say that for me going to a Jewish Synagog and getting a tour from a Rabbi was a highlight of my conversion from protestant to Catholic and I was just thinking about that last night for some reason…

Remember that faith is in your will not your feelings! So, go to mass always, even if you don´t “feel” like it. Hope the retreat helps and is a fantastic experience for you!😉

Welcome! I am glad your family are supporting your conversion 🙂

Do try to go to Sunday Mass (or the Saturday vigil). I am not confirmed yet either (I will be confirmed next year, like you) yet I feel the need to go to Sunday Mass even though I know that I am as yet under no obligation to do so. I still feel guilty about the one time I’ve missed it.

Keep reading, keep praying, and stick around on CAF (I’ve learned so much here) and Gos bless you 🙂
