If you think something is wrong you should say it’s wrong, if you are going to bother talking about it at all. Not slap on a fake smile and pretend it’s ok.

Welcome to CAF. Hope we can all benefit from your sojourn here.

I’m curious to know what particularly draws you to paganism. I understand that you have a strong dislike for the Catholic Church, but that doesn’t really speak to why you choose paganism when there are so many other philosophies, religions, etc. you could choose.

I need not repent, for my soul is safe as is. I believe not in the Devil nor hell, your Heaven is as your hell to me, nothing.

Just because you have a large book, doesn’t mean the word is absolute, the bible is written by men, therefore it is flawed, biased, and is not at least totally historically accurate. Besides, it is your book of faith, to me it is words with a silent and meaningless tongue speaking them.
 
I never said I that I could not choose. I choose Paganism after some research, I found that there are several paths, and several different directions in which to handle yourself as a Pagan, I choose mine, and have found my calling to be just and good.

What did Mother Theresa do? Jesus came to bring us a comforter, and let him(the holy spirit) speak because he(the holy spirit) can only speak truth, we as men get in his way as did the Pharisees and the righteous Sadducees, Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to save it.Jesus has come to heal those who need a physician, not for those who dont need one.

And here I was being lead to believe Jesus was all about love, kindness and forgivness, not being as self righteous as you seem to be. I am glad not everyone is like you

err… not sure if this was directed towards me, but I wasn’t implying that you couldn’t choose…just wondering what it was about paganism that was more attractive than all of the other possible religions/beliefs that exist.

Jesus throws all the pagans to the Lake of Fire if they don’t repent.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Isnt that a contradiction? How can he be all about love and forgivness if he (acording to what you say) wants to torture innocent people ?

No one is innocent once they’ve heard and disbelieved.
 
Not everyone hears. And not eveyone has to do what you say, so you know what pagans think about Satan and hell? I’ll tell you, they don’t think about either, they don’t think that people end up burning forever for the slightest misdead, they don’t think everyone HAS to follow the exact same beliefs as them. It is in fact as far as I can see people like you that push people away from catholicism and other similar beliefs, not many people like intolerance and self righteousness
 
Hi, Pagan. I just want to say that I’m sorry some people have given you a hard time & others have told you Jesus hates gay people. Poeple of all faiths make mistakes & say the wrong thing. The Catholic Church teaches that all sex outside of marriage is wrong. I believe Jesus loves you more than anything.

He also loves pagans. I wish you & Mortis peace. I have been at web sites where I was the only person there who believed as I did, & it’s really hard. It feels like everyone is firing posts at you at once. Not many will attack you here. Even those who seem like they are attacking you probably just want what they feel is the best for you.
 
However I believe in purgatory for those who have doubt but otherwise try to be good people, then they can know for sure there and not suffer forever.

But I don’t count on those being really vicious against God to get a chance, like militant atheists who mock god, and Satanists who think there may be a God but want to join with Satan and fight Him anyway.

You came on to this forum to incite Pagan-bashers - ‘On that note, I open the floor to you all…’ What were you expecting to ‘open the floor to?’ You wanted to upset people. You wanted to ‘retaliate’ on behalf of your pagan friends on pagan message boards who were offended by Catholic beliefs.

That’s what you wanted.

Now, if you get some of that, don’t complain. You’re not a victim.
