I haven’t been active lately and I haven’t posted for a while. I apologize for that, but I have a good reason: I’m pregnant! I don’t know if it’s a girl or boy, and my husband and I plan to wait and be surprised. I’d just like to ask for your prayers for a safe pregnancy 🙂 It’s my first time so I’m nervous…
 
Congratulations!!! A baby is truely a gift from god!!

If you are waiting till birth to find out if your baby is a boy or girl then you could still buy baby clothes during pregnancy…just buy neutral colours that both boys and girls could wear e.g lemon, white, green etc…
 
That is so wonderful!

There is nothing as beautiful as bringing another one of God’s children into existence!

Congratulations! My favorite news is blessed new life so thank you for sharing. If you don’t want to find out the sex of the baby make sure not to pay to close attention to details during ultrasounds. I saw I was having a son before hearing it from our Dr!

Great St. Gerard,
beloved servant of Jesus Christ,
perfect imitator of Jesus,
and devoted child of the Mother of God,
enkindle within my heart one spark
of that Heavenly fire of charity which glowed in yours.
Because you bore,
without murmur or complaint,
the calumnies of wicked men
when falsely accused of crime,
you have been raised up by God
as the patron and protector of expectant mothers.
Preserve her in the dangers of motherhood,
and shield the child she now bears,
that it may be brought safely to the light of day,
and receive the sacrament of baptism.

St. Gerard, pray for all expectant mothers!

You’ll do great. Just remember to talk to and especially to read to your baby in-utero. They are highly perceptive in the womb. And make sure you get to those Limaze classes, it helps immensely during birth. And have your favorite names picked out for both genders ahead of time because after delivery a person is just too tired. 👍

My husband and I have already been thinking of some names and we’ve got a pretty good list going. I love the name Hope, and Matilda is also a pretty name. For a boy I like Jamie. But of course there’s still many more months to decide, so I’m keeping my mind open 🙂

I’m pregnant too…due 9/23. When are you due? We could be pregnant prayer buddies!
 
Congratulations, children are one of the greatest blessings! Happy and healthy 9 months to you. As has been mentioned, if you want to keep the sex a surprise then don’t pay close attention to the anatomy ultrasound. We knew what our second child was before the technician could say a word. 😉
