Thank you very much i will confess my sins to god
His judgment is just and fair
God bless you too

This may be completely impossible, but is there any way you could seek asylum or leave your country for another? I will be praying that the Lord protects you and finds a way to bring you into His church.

Thank you for your kind words and prayers however unfortunately leaving the country is not an option that i have
God bless you.

Please know that we are praying for you. God is keeping you safe and will bless you many times over for your difficulties. Some of us have it so easy in terms of growing up Catholic and practicing freely that we forget the persecutions our brothers and sisters may face. Pray for a time when God will reveal Himself in Christ to all Muslims and we all will have freedom of worship.

First of all I’m a 22 year old kurd from syria a country that has been going through a civil war for almost a decade now
Throughout this war i have been going through a new phase in my life where i started to feel that islam (with all due respect) has done me nothing but harm
I have been reading about christianity and Catholicism specifically and i have found peace of mind within it
I have been praying to god every day and night
I want to be devout believer but first i have to repent for my mortal sins
I can’t however go to a Christian priest for confession for i was born a muslim and if anyone knew that I’m secretly catholic i most likely will get killed
Can i repent without the confessing to a priest considering my dangerous position
Or shall i risk it all for absolution ?
I cannot help you with this but brother, you are in my prayers. Please be safe and may God’s blessing be with you.

Can’t the gov track you and this thread? Be careful… prayers

I unfortunately have no one that i trust and that can have me baptized
I always wanted to get baptized and to be able to practice christianity in public without fearing prosecution but sadly it’s not an option for me because of my bad luck being born in an Islamic country
I honestly don’t know what to do…
Thank you for your kind words and God bless you

Don’t be afraid to offer up the pain and suffering of this persecution for the conversion of others, especially poor sinners.

Perhaps God has put you in this situation for a reason, my dear friend, an ability to bring about some good.

For now, I suppose, try to pray. God bless you

my bad luck being born in an Islamic country
Remember God put you in the country, so He must have a plan for you.

Pray that you may find others to help you, and whom you might help. And pray that other day be converted as you have been.

I will join you in praying for those things!

PS: you do not have to go to Confession now: baptism will wash away all your sins that you repent. Confession is for sins committed after baptism.

I agree with Annie–you may be in your country for a reason, as hard as it may be to see that now. It may be that many of your fellow citizens will go to heaven through your faith, sacrifices and sufferings.

For instance, Jesus told St. Faustina (a holy saint from Poland who actually spoke with Jesus) that a thousand souls had received graces through her prayers in the moment she was praying. So if so many had received graces in that moment, how many might receive graces over the course of a whole day (or a lifetime) of praying and offering up our sufferings. Granted, we’re not as holy as St. Faustina but it does make us think about how powerful prayer might just be.

St. Faustina herself wrote: (in paragraph 1783 of her Diary):

“We do not know the number of souls that is ours to save through our prayers and sacrifices; therefore, let us always pray for sinners.”

Similarly, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque said: “One just soul can obtain pardon for a thousand sinners.”

So it just may be that you and the other Christians in your country, no matter how few there are, have an important job to do in praying for others. Your prayers and suffering can help lead many souls to salvation.

Keep praying the Spiritual Communion prayer and praying for the opportunity to join His Holy Catholic Church!

You are in my prayers! May God Bless you!

The first Christians suffered all kinds of persecution from the Roman and Jewish authorities. They had to keep things secret for a long time. Don’t be ashamed that you have to keep it to yourself for now. That will change some day. You will find others just like you and together you will find courage, strength, and fellowship.

Praying for you Firatpenaber. 🙏

Blessed Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful-
Mother and love the weary, abused, neglected
or forgotten among us-
Give your aid to all needing help or healing-
Assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering-
Be with those needing peace-
Console the lonely or brokenhearted-
Comfort the lost, hopeless or fearful-
Guard the unborn-
Pray for those who are dying or who have died-
Touch those who do not yet see truth or have hardened hearts-
Help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go-
Show us the way to do the right thing-
Protect those who are in danger, and
Guide us from every evil.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.
Amen

I’m grateful to each and everyone of you for your kind words and prayers
May God have mercy on us.
