Remember he’s not here to -]answer questions/-] err… I mean, debate 😃
Oh yeahhhh just to ‘discuss’ things …

dictionary.com had kindly provided me with the meaning of discussion:

an act or instance of discussing; consideration or examination by argument, comment, etc., esp. to explore solutions; informal debate.

paarsurrey’s Koran must not contain
[3.151] We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust.

nor
[9.5] So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

You call it an ‘attack’

I call it exposing it for what it is.

I do so because many people are misinformed.

Islam thrives on misinformation
actually everyone seems to beleive exactly what u beleive

That’s not true. One could do a study of a theory that had no people following it - or do you think historians are unable to deal with Aztec faith because no one has human sacifice anymore?
i’ve qeustioned christianity on this site, and have seen first hand how u guys and gals take it personal

boog,
So if you ideologically and theologically attack Islam you physically attack Muslims, do you?

No. You just expose Islam as being the evil religion that it is.

Oh… by the way, it is possible to evacuate a building before you destroy it. That’s what the building demolition experts do. They clear the building (and its surrounds) of people and then blow it up.
did i say physical attack?
u don’t want Muslims to evacuate, i think u want them to burn also
which is scary

I’m still waitng for boog123 to deal with any of the evidence I’ve presented here.

Not uncommon for a Moslem to attempt diversion on these threads by turning to attack poster’s motives. Their own motives then become suspect.
i seem to be getting under your skin
i have no big problem with u Montalban
i believe your completley right with all your facts and have said it several times already.
thanks for indirectly addresing me again:D

So you’re judging me from what you see of others (because you don’t exactly say I’ve done this) and it’s okay for you to do this type of judging but when you perceive others doing it, it’s wrong?

I note you’re still going for motives and shying away from any argument discussing any facts I’ve presented here.

This of course would make me question *your *motives 🙂 You seem only willing to attack everyone else.

That’s simply projection on your part.

All I’m doing is asking you to address facts I’ve presented here.

If you think that I appear to be bugged, that’s simply not the case.

If anything I’m mildly amused that you’re changing tack now (doing ‘projection’) and yet still missing any discussion of facts.

The only thing that’s bothering me at this moment is the thought of my believed Eels losing to Brisbane tomorrow.

u don’t question Islam? i’ve admitted to judging
probably something i’ll never be able to stop myself from doing,
will never HATE anyone though
again, ALL YOUR FACTS ARE AMAZINGLY CORRECT
u da man

honestly i beleive that you hate both muslims and islam
just want to know why?
again your facts are correct

Moving along…

The OP talks of ‘rabid’ Islamophobia. This seems to by an tautology given the implication that Islamophobia is itself irrational.

A ‘rabid irrational’ makes for such a tautology.

Given the fault in the OP as read, I move on to the other points therein.

When someone is in danger, it’s a friend who points this out. When someone is following a dangerous belief, it too requires an act of love.

Pointing out the faults of Islam is a way of urging people to reel back from this danger

This of course would make me question *your *motives 🙂 You seem only willing to attack everyone else.
this is a majority catholic but all Christian site especially when it comes to Islam, people like u as a Christian feel comfortable here, u can search for your anti islam topics and jump right in, thats pretty much all you’ve been involved in on this site, did u expect to just attack and not have any opposition.

In reference to JimG’s cited article there is indeed a culture war going on.

Christianity is beset by enemies from all sides. Islam, post-modern secularism, scientism, etc.

In alerting people to some of these it is not to say that Christianity is in ‘danger’,* but Christians certainly are.
  • and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it

Not just on Non-Catholic Religions, but what feels like every single board people are saying how all muslims are violent people who want to take over the world.
I take it then, that you have never bothered to read the Quran? If this is the case then you are just “piping sunshine to the desert”.
Get a freaking grip. Everyone should just admit right here they hardly know anything about Islam apart from what they hear on the news about the latest body count from the Middle East. There are muslim terrorists and there is brutal sectarianism. Christians too have done these things in the past. Does that justify it? No but it should tell you something: that there are good and bad people of all faiths. Do you not know that there are many Muslims who despise all of this stuff? Probably not, most of you guys would likely rank them along with Santa Claus and Bigfoot.
No, quite a few westerners are a little more well read than you think. I have a copy of the Quran…something muslims don’t like to have happen. But if you were to actually read it…you would have a better idea of what they are about.

Yes there are “good and bad” everywhere…but what is most appalling about the so called good muslims is their absolute refusal to stand up and condemn their fellow muslims acts of terrorism and atrocity. Their failure to do so constitutes “tacit approval”. If muslims so despise this…why are they not preventing it? Bigfoot and Santa Claus have more credence.

i would love to see you attack fundamentalist Christians as well.
Hey, what sort of gross attack are you suggesting?

Why would anybody equate Christian fundamentalism with Islam? Only if he were ignorant, angry, or both, I think.

Montalban argues hard and well his position. He never, in the weeks I’ve been here, simply asserted or uttered anything remotely hateful.

Rightly, he is distressed by Islamo-facism, Islamo-terroris, and the Koranic and other sources for these evils.

Whoever the Christian fundamentalists are, and whatever Christian fundamentalism is, I for one have no fear of them or it whatsoever.

Inside the fertile imagination of the left, they and it have been propagandized out of existence, so that it is now easy to make silly comparisons with Islam, as in CNN’s God’s Warriors.

I hope to hear more from Montalban, whose command of the facts and high level of discourse I find to be most helpful and welcome.

God bless.
