I'm So upset- Jericho was cancelled

Because it shows contempt for the viewers, because the writers/directors/producers cant be bothered to get it right.

Because like other egregious faults, it breaks the “suspension of disbelief” and good fiction has to maintain–and can draw attention to other story faults–and believe me, this show had em too

We grant Shakespere slack because both he and his audiences really didnt know better–but evn though current writers often dont, believe me, a LOT of us viewers do

Correct me if I’m wron but Jericho is supposed to be a fictional town and is not in near Witchita. If I recall correctly in the first episode, Emily’s fiance was landing in Wichita and it was at least a 3 hour drive in the opposite direction to get there.

This is not geography lesson, it is a fictional show, based on what you would do if nuclear war came to the states. The important issues are how they deal with them. If you have any issues at all, I think it should be with whether or not the way in which they deal with everyday life is realistic or not. For the most part I think it;s right on target.

What would you do if there was an EMP and none of the new cars worked because they all have chips in them? How would you make anteseptic? what do you do when food runs out, how do you live in a society that no longer needs money?

these are the questions that are posed and I think dealt with in a realistic way. The people in this show are real, they have faults, but they have integrity and will and fight and they love their town and their country. This is for the most part a pretty wholesome show and I think it deserves to run it’s course.

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) – Fans trumpeting the cause of CBS’ canceled drama “Jericho” have caught the network’s ear.

CBS, deluged with calls, messages and shipments of nuts signifying viewer displeasure, is reconsidering its decision, a source close to the production said Tuesday.

The source spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to comment publicly. A decision on whether to bring the show back, probably for a midseason run, is imminent, the source said.

“Jericho” fans who slammed CBS with protests over the drama’s cancellation have won the battle: It will return next season, the network said Wednesday.

It was an unusual display of viewer might since networks usually put ratings ahead of even the most passionate, well-organized fan base. But CBS said the show deserved another chance, while cautioning that it must prove it has wider appeal.

Have you guys watched episode 1 of season 2? What did you think? There are so many theories out there! I am so happy it is back. I am disappointed though that the season is so short. Hopefully it gets picked up for more episodes! I hope the US wins, I dont like the ASA at all!
